Had lunch which was good, but truth be told the ambiance far surpassed the food. We were seated in a lovely dining room with a window view of the garden which was very nice. Surprisingly they did not have unsweetened ice tea which surprised my...More

We were looking forward to a fine dining and experience, and while the food we got was good, it wasn't great and just didn't really impress my husband and me. We ate at a lot of great places during our vacation, and this was probably...More

We dined her last year and loved it and could t wait to go back last week. Though was a total disappointment. The staff was friendly, restaurant clean and tidy and the food was hot. Though for the price it was not worth it.

We came here and stop at the bakery (in the back). Excellent bread and coffee. Great service. Stop by for a quick treat.

We went there before the theater, not really knowing what to expect. What a great surprise. The ambiance is tremendous, the staff friendly, attentive and knowledgeable and the food excellent. They have some traditional dishes and many that have their own signature to them. It...More

The most tastefully decorated, the best service and as always the best food in Ogunquit. Not cheap, but for a really fine meal this is the best there is in town. It's also refreshing to be served by properly trained waiters and not cheerful but...More

A group of six friends, each had a different dish. Everyone enjoyed their meal. My NY Steak was cooked just right, but the mashed potatoes and mushrooms were only warm - not hot. Good wait service and the white bean soup of the day was...More

Dear Mr. Pinkham: I'm not sure how you can say "all the other reviews," if you take the "poor" and "terrible" reviews equal about 20% of the reviews posted. Another 20% defined it as average. We appreciate getting good food for a good value for our money. It seems that was not apparent for us and others. I may indeed be incorrect on the seating numbers, but July Fourth weekend, one would think that :excess" space would be in demand. I do not wish to get into a pissing match here. I try to be as forthright as possible with my reviews. If a place excels, I will post it as such, even noting minor missteps. But if a place is deserving of poor marks, I will post that too. Yes, it is subjective, but I've eaten in some awesome low and high end places, and I've eaten in some horrible high end and low end places. Please accept my and the other less than wonderful reviews as constructive criticism and use it for the betterment of your establishment. I hope you succeed in that task.
