Enjoyed Happy Hour here yesterday. $3 beers, $2.50 oysters. The beer selection includes a wide variety of premium brands--unusual for Happy Hour offerings. Nice decor. Great service. We'll be back for a full dinner next time. Only caveat: The room has no sound absorption so is especially noisy. But, hey, it's Happy Hour and the customers sure seemed happy.

Just had lunch at the Old Port Sea Grill. Excellent service. Great Sicilian white with local mussels, clams and oysters. And you MUST try the clam chowder..

Great restaurant with fun oyster bar. However we chose quieter restaurant side. Amazing fun, beautifully lit aquarium. Our waitress was great but our lobster penne and salmon salad entrees were amazing. We look forward to returning.

Come here for seafood. We walked in on a Tuesday night and the restaurant was pretty empty. We all sat at the bar and ordered drinks and appetizers. The seafood was very tasty and fresh. We tried the shrimp cocktail, calamari and oysters. All were very good. Service was good as well. They have a large salt water fish tank... More

My wife and I stayed in Portland recently, and came across the Old Port Sea Grill when using Open Table to book a reservation. It was pretty close to where we were staying, and the ratings were excellent, so we gave it a try. We were very pleased we did. It's an upscale yet casual environment with a large bar... More

Charming restaurant in the old port area. Delicious seafood, one of the best chowders I've had. We dined in the bar area around 5:00 p.m. and it was happy hours with specially priced drinks. Comfortable, not so loud that you couldn't talk. Friendly and attentive staff.

Joined 3 friends for what I believe is the best steak in Portland, Maine. I'm asked all the time where to get a great steak in Portland and truly this is it. Our 3+ lb Tomahawk steak was perfectly prepared and as tender and flavorable as steak's I've paid three or four times more for. The steak was prepared sud... More

Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon while overnight for our anniversary. Never been there before. The bartender told us about the homemade beet infused vodka. The cocktail he made with it was absolutely fabulous...we had 3 between the 2 of us! We sampled the pork belly corn dog and the perogie...so good! We will make this a pit stop every... More

This place looks a little intimidating as luxury fine-dining from the outside, compared to most dockside pub/bar like atmosphere of eateries on the other side of Commercial Street, but don't be fooled. The prices of the seafood bar places dockside are comparable and feel overpriced just because they are on the water. The atmosphere of those places on a Friday... More

Description
TO VIEW OUR CURRENT MENU, please visit our website. The Old Port Sea Grill, opened in the fall of 2002, is located in the heart of Portland's historic Old Port district. Our modern interior features a custom concrete bar, a large lounge area and a dining room that can accommodate up to 60 guests and features a 250 gallon salt water fish tank. Our seafood driven menu focuses on a variety of local and imported fresh fish and shellfish, with an emphasis on east coast cold water oysters and other raw bar offerings. We pair that with a food-friendly wine list, local craft-style beers on draft and an extensive cocktail program to make for an exciting dining experience.
