Honestly have only been for beer and the great live music they have almost every night in the summer. A great spot right on the docks with a fun crowd... You can hear the music all around the Old Port and almost all seating is...More

I've had great lobster in that past, but it wasn't until I tried PLC lobster rolls that I realized what real lobster should taste like, I mean of course it's Maine and the best tasting lobster comes from there, but there is nothing like eating...More

Stopped in on our first evening in Portland, attracted by the music and the buzz. We didn't eat but sat at the bar for a good hour or more before dinner, chatting to the extremely helpful staff and customers. The beer was good and the...More

Setting is spectacular and plenty of outdoor seating overlooking the water. Lobster was disappointing (didn't feel like it was that fresh) considering that we were in Maine. The other food wasn't that bad. Had better expectations, especially since this place was recommended.

Called via cruise ship stop. All other fish restaurants we looked at were either way too expensive or already full. We were on our way back to the ship & saw a menu board on the street. We went in. Patio was packed but found...More

Casual outdoor dining on the wharf with all the best local seafood. I shared twin lobsters with my daughter and fried full bodied clams, with chowder loaded with clams. If you are looking for a great Portland dining out experience on the water, surrounded by...More

In the middle of the somewhat touristy downtown Portland seafront is this Lobster shack which is not cheap but worth every dime! The lobster rolls are just top of the tops, the fries are nothing to complain about as are the steamed lobsters. Good beer...More

A bit offbeat as you order at the counter and then wait on the large patio for your name to be called. Great food and picnic table ambiance. Expect a bit of a wait on a busy day, but worth the wait. And, great people...More

Awesome little place right on the water. Probably the best lobster rolls around. Tried several different dishes. Everything ordered was enjoyed, from fried to baked. This is a must stop and eat place. The staff was very nice and helpful. They also serve local beer.

The Portland Lobster Company was suggested by a friend. We visited in the evening and sat in an outside area with heaters. We ordered lobster rolls and shrimp, both were delicious! It's very casual, order inside then they call you when your order is ready....More

The biggest are 2 lb. but the best deal are to buy the twin 1 lb. lobster dinner. Its much cheaper & the 2 x 1 lb. lobsters are easier to peel & better tasting.

No. It's not that kind of place. Think more take-out with picnic tables in the back.
