Nice, casual pub restaurant with good comfort food and excellent local craft beer. Very reasonably priced!

We stopped here before a show at the State Theater and it was perfect. My wife is a somewhat picky eater and loved the Quesadilla with chicken (I believe it was $11). I had a chili (good size cup $4.50)which was delicious. About as good as I have had anywhere and I would come back for it. Tuesday wine special:... More

We saw the menu in the afternoon and decided to return for dinner. We were happy to see that it was Open Mic night. Dinner was delicious and atmosphere great fun.

Had a quick bite here because it was between the parking garage and the Portland Museum of Art, which was our ultimate destination. There's a sign after entering that states "please wait to be seated"... after waiting about 4-5 minutes, we seated ourselves in an empty restaurant. There was only one person at the bar when we arrived, he got... More

I visited Dogfish in the early afternoon during the week. They weren't busy at all. The craft beer selection was poor for Portland standards. The bartender seemed distracted with all of her friends sitting at the bar, so the service was just okay. Food menu looked okay, but left due to the poor beer selection.

My colleague and I stopped in on a Sunday to have some lunch, watch some NFL, and have a beer. It took a good 5 minutes (if not longer) for the bartender who was only 5 feet away to acknowledge us. Once he did, he was pleasant, but he always seemed like he was too busy to really give us... More

We arrived in Portland around 2:00 and wanted a quick lunch and a beer. The fact that we had our dog Bella with us limited our options. We ended up on the upstairs back deck at the Dogfish Bar. The waitstaff was very attentive and welcoming with a bowl of water for Bella. My veggie burger was excellent and my... More

We stumbled in here after a museum visit. Good service. The veggie bean burger with mango mayo was very good. The turkey sandwich had thick pieces of turkey and was delicious. The bison chili was a nice treat. Extra bonus- Sunday NFL on the tv.
