The food is really, really good: fresh, simple and flavorful. The service was painfully disorganized. If you are impatient, like me, prepare to suffer just little bit. But you'll love your meal.

We had lunch at Maclarens recently. It's right across from the Farnsworth Museum. Great food. Our group had salads and soup. Chicken salad was excellent, homemade, not too much mayo. My husband had the clam chowder which was really good. The restaurant is casual, a little noisy, no view but a great, fresh lunch.

Friendly staff, great choices in sandwiches. I got the Red Hen and had to take half home. My better half got the Reuben and said it was the best he's ever had. Definitely be back!!!

After a long drive from Connecticut we were hungry and this lunch spot did not disappoint. Superb butternut squash soup, stuffed-to-the-gills sandwiches, and seemed to have something for everyone. A real treat.

My wife and I stopped in on Saturday afternoon around 230. The decor and the atmosphere in this little sandwich shop is very warm. There was only 3 tables that had people on them. We both order very simple sandwiches. The ingredients were very fresh and well thought out. Though they were very tasty they took over 25 minutes too... More

The Sandwhich selection is wonderful. All types of bread to select from. The help is friendly and helpful. Order first and then find a table. Good gauge to let you know the wait time. We found seating right away. Put you coat on the chair and the table is yours.

You'll love the variety of sandwiches, my favorite is their Reuben. Eat in or take out, food is always great and while the eating area does get busy, it turns over quickly. It's our favorite place to go for lunch!

Just finished a delightful lunch here, driving through town and stopped based on TripAdvisor reviews. I had a fabulous Victoria salad, my husband called his Reuben sandwich one of the best he's had. Great location in downtown Rockland, helpful staff and very clean bathroom. Well done!

Conveniently located close to the Farnsworth. A great lunch and memorable chocolate chip toffee cookies too!

Great atmosphere, food and people. Our service was quick and friendly and the sandwiches very flavorful. Very good gluten free options of bread and beers.
