Wasses has the best hot dogs. They are cooked to order ,fresh and the service is very quick. They are very popular also.

We ordered 2 dogs with Bacon and Cheese with fries. Buns were soft, dogs hot, bacon and cheese.... yum. We did enjoy the fries the most... not greasy, hot and tasty. mmmm We will go back.

I rarely eat hot dogs, but I LOVE a good one and consider it a treat. I saw Wasses in Rockland, read the reviews and the cravings began. Yesterday, we decided to give Wasses a try for lunch. Every time we have driven by, it seemed busy - which seemed like a good sign. We approached the window and a... More

Seriously is a really good hot dog. What makes it unique is the bun that it's served on. A split white bread. Having with grilled onions is a must. Still the best hot dog in the world is the dog at Baejarins Beztu Pylsur in Reykjavik iceland but this is right up there

Walk up to the window, place your order, getcher dogs and enjoy them at a bench there, in the car or down at the dock in Rockland. Wasses cooks up good hot dogs...and there's something really neat about eating them outdoors with onions, mustard and whatever makes you happy. And it's fun to walk up and order at the window... Stopped by this famous place in Rockland for lunch believing that I would get an absolutely fantastic hot dog. I'm sorry to say that my experience was just slightly above average. The dogs are grilled which I like but these liquid squirt cheese from a can was a disappointment. I will say that one standout was the Western dog which... More

I've driven past this place numerous times and never noticed it until some friends took us there. Nothing special except great hot dogs, good toppings and being part of history. This place goes back many years. I am embarrassed I had never heard of it. Fun place. Sometimes the line at the window is long ...but worth the wait...plus you... More

This has been in business for years and the locals and tourists both love it. It is a hot place but has many varieties and sides. You will not be disappointed and a great casual family place and is VERY reasonably priced.

What you see is what you get--excellent hot dogs served in the out of doors, as they have been for a very long time. Don't miss it.
