Great little restaurant that gives excellent value for money, lovely Italian food, generous portions and very reasonable prices.
In the current lockdown, the takeaway service gives excellent value and a good choice all day from breakfast paninis to varied pasta dishes, fish or steak for an evening meal, all freshly cooked. Highly recommended.

This was the best Italian I’ve eaten out of Italy in a long time! The lobster ravioli and the wild boar ravioli were simply beautiful! The owner/chef was friendly, accommodating and cooked some wonderful, authentic, fresh dishes to perfection! The best thing...that was after taking them home in takeaway boxes due to this horrendous time we are in! Each dish was full of what you paid for and really wanted...lobster/prawns and wild boar! No scrimping, no pastes or small portions...all fresh, homemade and plentiful! The sauces were rich yet light and delicate with flavours that left you wanting more but were too full to manage! I travelled 45 minutes home with these and treated my gorgeous girl to this gorgeous food in a gorgeous Monday evening dining al fresco! I will be returning and can highly recommend this food, restaurant, service and friendly staff to anyone!

Food, service, entertainment all fabulous, as usual. Carlos cooks lovely Italian food, in a slightly different style to the usual Italians, very good value in a really cosy environment, its only tiny so best to book.You can also just pop in for coffee during the day time.☕️

We ate early on a midweek night and were the only diners until a couple arrived as we left. This wasn’t a problem as there was some pleasant Italian music playing in the background and the service was very friendly and unobtrusive.
We ordered a shared fish platter to start and we asked if the prawns could be served without the shells and this was done just as we requested. My husband’s main was also a fish dish containing prawns and this was also served without the shells.
My main was a pork dish with dolcelatte and madeira which was very tasty and the
vegetables were varied and well cooked.
They seemed to be doing good business with takeaway orders while we were there and nothing seemed too much trouble.

Visited this little gem of a restaurant for the first time today. We'd been for a circular walk round Boston Spa so was ready for a yummy lunch and a relaxing sit down in the sunshine. Extensive menu, lunchtime special and Specials Boards available. My hubby decided on the lunchtime special and chose garlic mushrooms followed by tagliatelle ragu. Myself and two friends chose the tomato brushetta as a starter followed by the Lobster, King Prawn and King Scallop spaghetti dish served in a gorgeous creamy crayfish sauce that was on the Specials Board. My word, I have tasted lots of seafood dishes as it's my favourite but I've never tasted anything as good as this. It was superbly presented and so so tasty. Everyone said how good all the food is. One of the waitresses is quite a character but by the end of the meal we quite got used to her. We had Italian Icecream and tiramisu followed by wonderful coffee. Do visit, it's a little gem and Carlo and his wife are lovely

Once again, Saturday evening, we experienced some amazing take-away, authentic Italian food from Da Carlo’s - and very welcoming owners. A great range of dishes freshly cooked, the seafood range is my favourite but they cater for all tastes and excellent value for money.
Not experienced it yet? I would recommend you do so, you will not be disappointed. You need to phone your order in advance the morning before, to get the time slot you want.

This tiny restaurant is wonderful. During the lockdown Carlo is providing a superb takeaway service at extremely reasonable prices; huge, delicious portions ; an unusual and consistently good menu. Not being a fan of takeaways Da Carlo’s has changed my mind! Our recent anniversary meal was splendid. I recommend the calves liver, the scallops with mushrooms and shrimps in a white wine sauce, and look forward to trying most of the menu items in due course. Carlo and his wife are charming, too. What an asset to the neighbourhood!

The owner of this restaurant is a very friendly, welcoming man who cooks the best food in town and provides the nicest hospitality always greeting customers with a hearty and friendly welcome. The meal my wife and I had to celebrate our wedding anniversary was above and beyond our expectations, the atmosphere in the dining area of the restaurant is just like being in Italy. Couldnt recommend it more.

A hidden gem here. So unassuming from
the outside but wow the food is amazing and so tasty and authentic. We went with a group of six, all with different choices and the food arrived altogether and beautifully served.
Highly recommend!

Goats cheese toasted pannini with sun-dried tomotoes & pesto, very tasty. Great little place for breakfast, brunch, lunch & if you want an evening meal, book in advance as Carlo gets very busy. Outdoor seating, weather permitting, closed Tuesdays

Having visited for the first time a few weeks ago we returned to this fabulous little restaurant with our family. We had different food choices to our first visit and were not disappointed.Our main courses in particular stood out: tuna steak with king prawns and mussels served with fresh veg and seafood pasta were particular highlights. We brought our own wine having learnt from our first visit - £4 corkage.
The only negative was that the restaurant was quite busy and tables seemed a little close given the current situation. There was also a group of 4 sat nearby who were clearly from different households. We will return as the food is superb but will try go for a quieter night earlier in the week.

Wanted to have a nice celebration meal and could not have got any better. Excellent food, good portions and great service. We had 3 good sized starters then the lobster ravioli which was delicious, King scallops and prawns again absolutely beautiful, well cooked and beautiful sauce, pork dijonaise was tender and again delicious. Will be going back soon! Couldn't have been more helpful in terms of service.

Best takeway ever. Have eaten in before and always enjoyed the excellent food but this was first time with takeaway. First class food included starters of spare ribs and Involtini Valdostana with mains of Black Ravioli and calves liver. Excellent quality and generous portions. Sensibly priced.

Please ignore the previous negative review - I can wholeheartedly say that the customer service here is second to none. The warm welcome and fantastic food is always superb - we had the house pasta and the belly pork this evening, i am struggling for the superlatives to describe them. Just wonderful!!
A fantastic establishment run by a fantastic couple. Highly recommended!

Sadly the restaurant part of Da Carlos was shut because of COVID-19 lockdown, however it was providing the most delicious takeaway meals. It was my birthday and my husband collected 2 x 2-course meals. i started with chicken liver pate which was deliciously smooth, with salad garnish and toast. Husband had Carpaccio, yum. For my main course I had lobster pasta and husband had stuffed pheasant. The whole meal was absolutely scrummy and we’ll definitely be going back. Thank you Carlo.
