I have been walking in the Chiltern Hills for 30 years and this recently-opened weekend cafe has made this activity even more enjoyable. The building is a huge, converted barn and there is lots of seating inside and out. The food is simple but very...More

My wife and I called into the Barn on a cool, but sunny Saturday morning. The Barn is very popular with walkers and mountain bikers and cyclists. Both inside and all the benches and tables outside were all full. There was a long queue and...More

What a fantastic find! The Barn is at Turville Heath, close to the tourist traps of Fingest, Turville and Skermitt, but in a much more tranquil location. Numerous paths run past the door, you have to park and walk and the place is optimised for...More

The Barn is often our first cake-and-coffee 'reward' stop cycling from Maidenhead, although we've also occasionally been tempted by the burgers and other locally-produced fresh food. Lovely, friendly and welcoming in a peaceful location, it's a perfect asset for the community who are lucky enough...More

My children, dog & I all enjoyed a well earned rest here on our long walk. Very friendly staff & the cheesey chips & doggy dish went down extremely well! Looking forward to returning soon.

We have visited the Barn many times for coffee, cake and burgers but this time we had one of Robin's pizzas. Wow! The best pizza I have had for a very long time. The base is apparently something Robin has been working to perfect for...More

We stopped here as part of a tour we’re on. The veggie burger and chips and the beef goulash were very good. Service was pretty quick, even with a large group and with a fair number of cyclists who stopped. Very nice staff!

Stopped here a couple of times now. Great stop to break a walk or bike ride. Great selection of wonderful cakes, drinks and haven’t managed a burger yet but just a matter of time.

Walked here from Fingest on a beautiful sunny May Sunday. Got there just before closing but were warmly welcomed, burgers are freshly cooked to order and lovely, all followed by cake which as we were walking back were fully justified. One of our party was...More
