My wife and I ate at the chequers late Friday evening. The food was generous and very good especially the pheasant. The staff were really friendly, helpful and made a lovely fuss over our dog. We plan to go back again.

Stopped for a snack on a sat lunchtime. No vegan options. £7.00 for a slice of toast with cheese on top. Literally nothing else on the long wooden board it was served on. Very disappointing. No real snacks just starters and main meals.
