If you are expecting a five star restaurant this is not the place for you. The drinks are cheap and the food quick, just not very good. Oh and a quick note, do NOT order the Cabernet...so bad. I'm sure they do a hopping business during the summer with the backyard open, but on this cold winters day, the onion... More

Service was fast and friendly at Litchfields. They have a good selection of food with an emphasis on seafood. The corned beef was very good and the sweet potato fries were delicious! This is the second time I have been here and they always have something going on....trivia or a giveaway the times I went. There is a nice open... More

We went on Wednesday for dinner. The Prime rib sucked. The pizza was half the size it used to be and very doughy. They call their lobster roll large ??? Its got no lobster in it. I had a drink at bar while waiting for my party. The bartender was rude and sshe eems like I was putting her out... More

We came here right before the Patriots playoffs game. Even though it was busy, we had great service. The restaurant has typical bar food and then some nicer entrees and seafood as well. We ordered the buffalo chicken salad which was HUGE and filled with a lot of chicken, the 1/2 size fried haddock sandwich with clam chowder, a pint... More

The place was freezing cold and the only advantage to that was that the granite table tops were about 30 degrees which kept my beer nice and cold. Nothing like a freezing cold bathroom to wake you up on a chilly winter night. My burger wasn't cooked right, but it was okay. The onion rings tasted good, but you can... More

The food is excellent, the specials are moderately priced and very good. On Wednesday evenings they have Trivia which is lots of fun, and they have prizes. The servers especially Beth and Alex are friendly and attentive. Great place to eat year round.

Prices for seafood are lower than other restaurants. Seems that most customers are coming for the bar. Food is good and service is average. Have eaten here several times in past 3 years, it is consistant. Will eat here again in the future.

The old Yankee vintage profile from the street does not convey the busy sports bar scene interior. Lots of sports screens and a young working group scene. However, the food was outstanding. We loved the enormous twin lobsters and the salads were fresh and generous. The wait staff didn't levy and uncharge either when we shared! Worth a return for... More

The hand-made food does not come off a Cisco truck. I've eaten at Litchfield's about 30 times and have been disappointed only once (don't try the peanut butter burger). The bar has a great happy hour 3-6 M-F and most customers are local or are here every summer. Sit far from the bar if you have kids with you --... More

My friend wanted lobster and someone recommended coming here. My friend was so turned off by the noise she wanted to leave, but we stayed. But she also did not order her lobster. Food was good, but don't remember what we ordered. If you like the bar scene and a noisy place, this is for you, otherwise, don't bother. Sorry.
