Delicious blueberry waffles with lots of wild Maine blueberries and tree (maple) syrup. Tina, the waitress was very friendly and offered tips on local sights. A couple at a nearby table overheard us talking about the hash, and asked the waitress to bring us a sample. Delicious! They also bake 5 different breads each morning. Plan on eating here while... Great, authentic Maine diner. Try the blueberry flapjacks with "tree" (maple) syrup. Good food and fast, friendly service.

Our waitress was very friendly and our food came in a timely manner even though she had the order wrong. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his blueberry pancakes even though he had actually ordered french toast. Coffee came but there was no cream on the table. I finally got the juice I had ordered after reminding her and she also brought... More

If your not in a rush, this is a good breakfast place. Don't be put off by the outside, which looks rundown. Comfortable, nostalgic feel and nice waitstaff,

The food is good, but the service is pretty slow. We have eaten here a few times and the food is pretty good.

The food is so good. I could eat breakfast there every day. The owner grinds her own flour and makes fresh bread daily.

It would be easy to drive right by this place, as it is less than eye appealing from the road. Word of mouth, however, led us to take a chance the first time we tried it. The restaurant is small and slightly the worse for the wear inside, but the colors are cheery and the raised booths are unique. The... More

This is a nice place for breakfast. It is frequented by locals, and that is always a good sign. Comfortable and nostalgic atmosphere with booths, you really can't go wrong. Don't expect anything fancy, but you should be satisfied when you leave.

This estuarine on Route One south of the town is an excellent choice for breakfast. The homemade Brad was particularly good. We had very tasty breakfast sandwiches with egg, cheese, and bacon. Service was somewhat slow but we were there at peak time Sunday morning.
