I did early happy hour one evening and the place was almost empty - some people sitting outside and a few people at the bar but I was the only one sitting at a table. That said, the staff were very quick with my drinks and friendly with some recommendations. The food was a little on the salty side but... More

Our group of 6 adults, 3 women and 3 men, went to this pub for a night out away from the kids. We walked into the place and had no idea where we should sit or who we should speak to. While standing around aimlessly, someone finally approached us and asked how many of us there were. We told her... More

The fish tacos were good, the draft beer was cold even though the glasses weren't. A few TV's inconveniently placed so you're not able to sit at a stool and watch them, but that's really not the point I suppose. No wifi so you actually get to socialize.

Flanagan's is probably the only true Irish Pub left in Bethesda (and probably the tri-state). Amazing All wood high ceiling bar huge bar - lovely draft beers - capped off by a wonderful owner - Steve. He will even do a gluten free fish & chips (if you ask nicely). My daughter was very impressed. You got to visit this... More

I've been there several times to see the FABULOUS singer /songwriter and her band that perform there on Sunday nights. Wow! Probably the best band in the DC area... Wait staff has been consistently excellent regardless of how crowded the room is, and has helped with recommendations and specials. Food is good, too. Feels like if you lived in the... More

Arrived around 5:30, Sunday night. A few folks eating at the bar, watching football. A group of musicians playing in the back room (fiddle music, nice) and several reserved table signs. We took a seat and received our drinks quickly. Our entrees did take a bit to come out, but we were in no rush. People started to trickle in... More

Wanted to watch the rugby match England - Wales before going to the Bannockburn festival. We were coming from D.C. Upon arrival they told us we'd have to pay 20$ for admission. Didn't say that on their website. And the place was half empty. So their loss on both sides...

We ordered the food from this place for home delivery. It was not worth the money. The food arrived after more than 1 and a half hours. It did not come with any cutlery, napkins or condiments. Here's what we ordered: -Potato Leek Soup: There was no leeks in this soup. It was geowy and disgusting. The cup came half... More
