Have eaten here quite a few times now and I must say that the food is just great. Have never been disappointed. The only downside to me is that sometimes it can be very crowded as expected of a great place and the wait time. I love their selection of beers also.

Growler's has a great food and usually great service. If you love the taste of beer it's a great place to try locally brewed offerings.

We went here for a quick bite to eat but ended staying until 1:30am! First drinks at the bar; great bar man and good selection of beers. Went on to eat in room on the side, nice and warm and cosy. Huge portions of good food. Then went up to the bar upstairs which was lively especially when a good... More

Excellent microbrewery, and the smoky grilled cheese with pulled pork and tomato was excellent. Try the IPA if you're into that kind of beer!

First off our server was fantastic. The food was tasty, quick and a good value. We had a late lunch and it was fairly quiet, but it looks like it could get quite busy the way it was setup. Nice bar with lots of craft brew choices.

Husband and I weren't very hungry so we asked to split a prime rib sandwich. Server was happy to accommodate us (I think there was a small charge). The sandwich was very good and the sweet potato fries were great. The only criticism I have is the noise level which is very high. We will go back, but hope to... More

We showed up with folks from across the country and Canada without a reservation...they not only had room for us but were able to split the bill even when we hadn't warned them to. Good food - enough choice even for the vegetarians in the mix and the beer was great! Sampling is allowed to make your choice...

Love Growlers- been going for two decades. Freshly brewed microbrews that change regularly, fantastic food, nice place upstairs to sit outdoors or in, great place to meet up with Happy Hour groups

My wife and I stopped by Growler's on a weekend afternoon and we were delighted to find tasty appetizers, a cheerful wait staff and all around nice experience. The place wasn't yet crowded (it was too late for lunch but too early for dinner) .I'm sure they must do a great business. We just moved back to Maryland from a... More

Description
J.A. Belt building is considered the oldest commercial property in Gaithersburg. The building has recently undergone a complete historic restoration and is listed on the National Historic Registry. The marriage of the old and new in this historic building creates a unique environment well suited for the reproduction of our turn of the century tavern. Hand-crafted beers and an excellent American menu keeps them coming back!
