We were in Germantown and had a yearning for Thai. We were about to go to Frederick or Kentlands to visit one of our favorite Thai restaurants when we discovered Sabai Sabai. We weren't disappointed. Food was really tasty and service was great: very friendly and prompt. Bit cramped inside but that was only downside.

We had dinner there two times. Both were excellent. Very nice service from the wait staff. All dishes- except for the average Pad Thai- were delicious. Will return.

Excellent! Our all time favorites are yum won sen, tom yum, and Boat noodles but everything else is very good too.

I visit this restaurant at least once a month. Their drunken rice is to die for and one of my favorites. But all the other dishes that we have tried are also good. The portion sizes are large and not tiny in comparison to some places. The only thing I can say is you have to try and I am... More

I have had every curry dish, drunken noodles, Sabai Sabai noodles, some specials and even more. I have not had one bad meal at this conveniently located restaurant. Right across the street from the library, there is street parking as well as more space behind the building. They take reservations but we are usually seated immediately except for the busiest... I know I should not compare this place with Thai Town in Ca. but the menu price they offers, I expect I will get more value from it. Some dishes are great but some are not. If I don't want to spend much money I will go to other places.

Almost always like the food here. The other week, when my husband and I went, I got the special entree of the evening: smoked eggplant with seafood. This dish was not my favorite. The smoked eggplant tasted like a cigar! And, the flavor of the sauce, although tasty in smaller dose in their Tom Yum soup, was overpowering. The seafood... More

This is an excellent neighborhood Thai restaurant. We first visited there on the advice of our daughter in Switzerland, who learned from a friend that this was a great place! We have dined there numerous times and always had delicious meals. Our dinner tonight was outstanding! We ordered two items from the specials: smoked eggplant with seafood and chicken, and... More

I love the place, the ambient, the staff and the food. The Crying Tiger can actually make you cry. I wish their soups were bigger, but they have excellent flavor.
