Our bartenders and servers, Valerie and Devan were amazing. Pleasant, cordial- thoughtful and all around fun to have as host and hostess. Valerie made the BEST Birthday shot/drinks ever! #Boom P.S. The food was awesome too.

We had a meeting with an out of town client and made reservations for lunch. It wasnt crowded at all and the waitress was on top of everything. We didnt wait too long for our food and the table was large enough for 7 of us. The salads and wraps are very good.

Great local place in a neat historic building. Nice selection of craft beer on draft and an eclectic food selection...very tasty and fresh. Happy hour specials can't be beat. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. We'll definitely be back!

We come here once a year with a bunch of friends from all over the U.S. who are attending an event. This is the second year I ordered the crabcakes and the second year I had to send them back a couple of times because they were still frozen in the middle. And of course, by the time they get... We stopped here for lunch when traveling through the area. It was after lunchtime, so they weren't terribly busy, but we found the food to be really good. My favorite was the Crab Pretzel appetizer. I could have made a meal out of that! Service was good, prices were good. The building is an interesting historical building - maybe an... More

This places goes up and down on my list. The happy hour and craft beer selection is nice. The food for dinner or lunch varies every time I visit so I'm always on the fence.

Think modern pub crossed with board room. Food was above average for pub grub. French onion soup was very tasty, sandwiches were very generous.

Had apps with family they were great and at a great price ( 1/2 price during happy hour). Fish tacos and crab pretzel were great. will be going back again. Service was great only problem is that you have to sit in bar area to get Happy Hour specials.

Decent food but drinks are very pricey. The quality of food seems to vary greatly with each visit and is inconsistent but is usually good.

Description
Formerly Tristate Electrical Supply, the building was a quintessential landmark of the Hagerstown Commercial Core Historic District. During late 19th century, Downtown Hagerstown became the leading producer of furniture, organs and other products. This economic boom was caused by total redevelopment and transformation of the downtown commercial area during that period. As a major railroad center, Hagerstown maintained a stable economic situation during the Great Depression. Bulls and Bears was opened in the fall of 2008 by Jone and Don Bowman. After purchase of the building, no stone was left unturned to return the building to it's original luster through years of labor.
