It was surprisingly crowded. It is seat yourself so several 2-person parties took the few 4-tops causing a 10min. wait. However, there are comfortable casual seating areas in both the Washington St side and the Potomac Street side. The specials were good. Everyone really enjoyed their lunches with happy plates all around. They serve your drink with a plastic and... More

The food is always outstanding as I have tried many of their selections. A great place for girlfriends to meet for lunch; and we love to go prior to a Maryland Theater performance. Very cool decor-- always decorated beautifully around holidays. Fun place to go.

Nice, casual week day lunch spot. Close to the Visitor Center and central parking lot. Wish they were open for dinner.

My family and I stopped here before a movie at Leitersburg Cinemas, and what a wonderful treat! All of our meals were delicious and portioned correctly (which is a big problem these days). There were many little details that made our experience great and we definitely plan to go back!

Delicious, basic, and fresh describes the food at the Rhubarb House. Presentation was delightful and specials were wonderful. Desserts were fresh and unlike any others, obviously this Chef cares about what he puts on a plate and how he puts it on the plate. Would definitely go back!

Hadn't been to the Rhubarb House in many years. It's still popular and delicious. Had iced tea and the spinach salad with grilled chicken. My friend had the same except she had raspberry ice tea since it's decaf. The salads were beautiful and filling. This is still a great find on the square in Hagerstown.

Held a private luncheon at the Rhubarb House for my Aunt's 90th birthday party, and it exceeded expectations! A hot summer day, the buffet menu consisted of pasta penne shrimp with grilled vegetables, summer spinach salad with strawberries, fresh tomato and mozzarella salad over mixed greens and chunky chicken salad, which is their house specialty. Not only did everyone rave... More

We had lunch today at Rhubarb House, and it was delightful. I had the soup of the day, a Maryland crab soup with lots of veggies and an adequate amount of local crabmeat in a tomato based broth. J--- had the chicken Caesar sandwich, and I had the "Rhubarb Caesar salad" walnut pieces, Gorgonzola cheese, and roasted red peppers on... More
