Food is good to very good- with a very good on beer and drinks. They always have a port on nitro. Just the meat with sides is a winner. The turkey cheesteak was a winner

This restaurant was okay but they had nothing that made me want to come back. I had the quarter Chicken dark meat with bourbon sauce and my wife had Salmon on Salad. Too many TVs, too much noise. At 5pm on Sunday, they didn't have any Corona. Fatal mistake. To the manager: Travel to Mt. Airy. Go in the CarterQue... More
I ordered the boneless chicken thighs and they were really good. Cooked just like I would grill at home. Not much selection of bbq sauce was offered- only Carolina style and regular. Where was sweet and smoky? My hush puppies were perfect and the Cole slaw was good- could have used a little sweet flavor. I tried fries from another... More
I may have hit it on an off night. A lot of good reviews on this restaurant. Fries were really good. Brisket was pretty marginal. Burgers seemed to be just a pre made patty. Sent some of it back for a second try and it came out worse. Prices are very high for a BBQ joint. Service was not bad,... More
We've eaten here a few times as dine-in. More often, we get take out. Love the ribs, pulled pork and fried okra. The tri-tip sirloin is delicious and they cook it perfectly when requesting medium-rare.
Title of the review says most of what needs to be said here. Great barbeque that won't break the bank, well-placed big-screens, comfortable seating, and endless napkins! Choice of sauces wasn't overwhelming, and... More
first time here, and left with a full belly. beer was great, never had most of them. bbq and sauces were great. staff was friendly and accommodating. will definitely be back!
The barbecue is definitely above average. But the reason to go is the fries and bread pudding. Both are outstanding. Other sides are not consistently good. Prices are reasonable but not cheap. I would rate this place a 5 if their sides other than fries were better.
