I've been frequenting Muskrat for a few years. It's a nice alternative to some of the other diner style breakfast joints in town. The main fare is breakfast style sandwiches, although they do waffles and such. My only bad experience was on a busy long weekend, they were absolutely shell shocked. The number of patrons was not that high so... More

My wife and I had Breakfast here for the first time about two weeks ago. We had heard that it was quaint and that the food was good. That wasn't quite true. The food was excellent. I love a place that makes the food to order, not the steam table or microwave variety. Everything here is fresh and great tasting... More

We boated recently to Rock Hall and bicycled from Haven Harbor Marina for breakfast here at the suggestion of folks at our marina. The breakfakst was great. They make a locals sandwich that my husband enjoyed, I had gluten free items and they were delish and my son raved about the french toast. All in all a great meal. The... More

Stayed at the attached Carriage House B&B, and enjoyed a delicious breakfast at Muskrat Alley! Service was great, friendly staff. Enjoyed the Crab and Shrimp Quiche with fresh fruit. Delightful cafe atmosphere with friendly hospitality. Definitely recommend!

Good food, friendly service, and quaint setting… This is a neat spot for two …. or also neat for our family of twelve. The kids had fun playing in the yard in front of the inn … and the adults enjoyed the view from the outside patio...

A very rain, dreary day when we stopped for coffee and a snack at Muskrat Alley. We sat at a window front table reading local papers and magazines. We enjoyed the small but interesting gift and card selections. I succumbed to buying a pressed-tin blue crab to send to a central Texas friend who is fascinated by the Maryland Blue... More

Found this place just walking by. Great coffee and it is a B & B as well but didn't stay there. Nice outside seating area too.

Muskrat only serves brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 8am until noon. They have a cute, kitschy indoor seating area and a nice outdoor seating area under the trees. It feels very homey and everything on the menu is delicious, especially the waffles topped with fresh fruit. It's small popular place and everything is made to order so be patient!... More
