This location used to be a bank in the olden days, and has a unique flair to it... they probably have the best hamburgers in town, and a very tasty breakfast menu as well

Stopped for dinner on a very busy night and service was still great and food delicious and hot. Did not have to wait to have orders taken or for drinks or refills.

Interesting place. Did not love the crowd, did not love the service, but I did love the crab soup and the pretzels. The beer selection was weak at best, so it kind of dimmed my view of the place. If you want to try out some tasty fresh pretzels and some flavorful crab soup, go here. If you are looking... More

No, Sysco here!! We started with the fried pickle spears. They are hand battered with a light and crispy tempura like coating. Delicious! Pickles were still crisp and juicy. The dipping sauce is also homemade, have not a clue what it was but it was great and had a nice kick to it. We both had burgers. Again, No sysco!... More

We visited Carpenter Street Saloon on a day trip to St. Michael's. What a wonderful stop. I loved the atmosphere, the history and the food! I had the Chesapeake Club - it has grilled rockfish and a crabcake on a brioche roll. It was absolute heaven on a roll! Lee was our server and was awesome. Lots of personality and... More

Fun atmosphere, local flair. Fair prices, good drinks and easy access from any part of town certainly worth a stop!

Nice selection of pancakes and omelettes and other hearty breakfast fare. The bloody Marys are awesome and the Carpenter Street Saloon mugs made the coffee taste so good that I had to pick one up at the gift shop.

Ate two lunches here and both were excellent. Came for the crab and they had several menu items to choose from. Great combination of saloon and great food in a easy casual atmosphere.

This is a place we always stop for an afternoon drink. It is very much like a neighborhood place. The help is always friendly. We have had light snacks there. We just like to stop there.

Love C Street! Great local spot to saddle up for a beer and some friendly conversation. A must visit when in town if you enjoy a cold beer!
