Had a nice day to go with the Laurel Walking Club around Savage, MD. On the way back we stopped to rest here and grab a drink. Well it was Sunday and they had football and specials so we ordered burgers and Bacon Cheese Fries, so delicious we called our son and asked he wanted us to bring some food... More

Its worth the visit just to view the historic property. The menu is basic pub fare, but its a good bit higher priced than others in the area. Appetizer average $12 and more. Basic burger about the same at $12 served with fries. Steaks more that $20. That being said, our food was good. Not remarkable, but good. Service average.

The Ram's Head Tavern is a favorite of ours, drawn to the unique historic property and the fact you basically get 4 restaurants in 1. We sat in the main dining area with the bar which we favor and also like the outdoor dining in the trees overlooking the river but there is a rathskeller in the basement and quieter... More

We have had delicious meals here in past years, and dined here tonight with dissatisfaction. My husband and i had the Cornacado salad which had scallops the size of pencil erasers and tiny shrimp. We exchanged glances as if a joke. The only redeeming quality was the cilantro jalapeño dressing. Our son's steak was full of grizzle- too chewy. Unsure... More

Family-friendly tavern atmosphere. Food is better than standard pub fare. Good selection to choose from. Went on a Friday night, location was busy not not slam-packed. Had great wait service. Tried the Count de Monte Cristo - a sandwich of turkey, ham, bacon w/plum preserves on french toast. Was good, but you need to eat it with a knife &... More

Whatever we order the food is very tasty. Our opportunity to dine at Rams Head is limited to the times we have our BMW motorcycle serviced at Bob's BMW in Jessup. Our salmon was done to perfection.

We really enjoyed our visit here. We had been away for 10 years and selected this as our go to restaurant while we were back in town. Had great food, good service, and delicious beer. The wait staff was good and all the dished were amazing. They also handled our peanut allergy easily. Very glad we went back.

Had lunch. Fish and chips were so-so. Over battered. Fries good. BBQ sandwich was different and also just satisfactory. Should have had a burger. Service was excellent. Downstairs bar area looked like fun. Nothing memorable.

I have been here a couple of times and it is an interesting place with different seating options. I would give it good reviews for the atmosphere and for the service but as pub food it is only mediocre. I had the fish and chips and I have had much better. They did not taste completely cooked and were not... More
