My son and I stopped for lunch at the Desert Rose while biking the GAP and C&O. The place was recommended by several cyclists. The food was excellent, but the place was busy for lunch even on a Wednesday and service was a bit slow but still not bad. I had 1/2 pastrami reuben and red beans and rice, and... More

Good menu and somewhat easy to get to from the C&O trail we were biking on (there is a somewhat steeper hill to climb to conquer from the trail to the cafe). Staff was friendly. Lunchtime service was slooooow. Good menu variety. Drinks and snacks and some bike parts for purchase. Had a place to fill our water bottles which... More

This is an absolutely wonderful place. Not only the food which is great but the caring people that are there. They offer more than just food. They offer kindness, caring, and a community spirit.

cute little shop, to get sweets to go. Rose was very helpful with knowledge for the town and trail. Rose also owns the ice cream shop which you cant turn down after a nice hot meal.

This is my favorite place in williamsport! The owner Jeff and his staff makes you feel like they've known you for years even if it's your first visit! Plus they will make any kind of coffee drink anyway you want as long as they have what you want in it there! Will definitely continue to come back!

Good food and good conversation in a small town setting. The menu is comprehensive and it is a wonderful place to take someone to breakfast.

I was very impressed with this little gem along the C&O Canal! The food was not only delicious and inexpensive, but very health conscious! Many healthy options to choose from, however if you have a sweet tooth they offer an ample supply of homemade baked goods and flavored coffees. The staff was super friendly and the atmosphere and décor was... More

My husband and daughter and I went there one morning for breakfast. We had to sit ourselves and when we did we waited for 25 min and no one ever came to take our order or anything. Not a huge selection on their menu. Won't be going back

Desert Rose has an ambience all it's own. The owner is very friendly and shared with us that the name of her business is her real name. She makes the most amazing squash soup,in fact I liked it so much I went back the next day and ordered it again. Lots of sandwiches on the menu. If you go to... More

From talking too the owner or person at this place I would guess that they get most of their business from cyclists coming off the C & O canal. I went there as a meet and greet with a gal after reading about it on Trip Advisor and wasnt disappointed. I had one of the wraps and clam chowder soup... More
