Most of the Chinese restaurants have been changed to Thai or Asian cuisine, but when we are in the mood for some classic "Chinese" food this is the place! Not greasy (well not overly) and fast and quick delivery, this place satisfies.

I got my standard takeout order of a combo plate with pork fried rice, chicken fingers and beef teriyaki. The PFR was excellent, fluffy, plenty of pork and somehow, not greasy. I also thought the fingers were crispy and the beef was solid, maybe a little chewy. I split an appetizer of pan seared Peking ravioli. They were tasty albeit a bit dense. The spring roll was okay Food was promptly prepared and ready. Overall good takeout experience.

Greasy food. Got order to go. Chicken fingers: so greasy the grease seeped out of cardboard carton, through bag & onto car seat. Peking Ravioli: under-cooked. Beef & Broccoli bland, skimpy on the beef. Pork Wonton Soup: bland, lacked vegetables, almost no pork; grease slick on top. I live close by & have tried several times. Seem to be getting progressively worse. This latest visit will likely be last one. Too bad.

There is nothing “new” about this place. The food is still just average. The reason for the one star is the 2 folks that run the place have the personalities of a grape!! I’m all for supporting a local business, but now I know why I haven’t been there for a while. Woman acts like she is above you and guy has no expressions at all, and has been caught with his finger in his nose. This was my last time giving them a chance. Go somewhere else people!

I have been living in Braintree for almost 8 years and tried different Chinese restaurants in Weymouth because I like my rice brown I tried Cathay center,quans kitchen, they were the best until they started serving old rice and I know sometimes restaurants slack once and a while but consistently is a No-no I work to hard for my money.thats when a coworker told me about Mei Garden..and he was on point.I stopped in and before I ordered I asked the guy at the desk was the rice fresh or was they gonna reheat it. And he told me everything was freshly made to order and it was true.crab rangoons and chicken wings,pork fried rice was delicious I will be back again.Until they go wrong with the food then it's on to the next spot.

I go there every saturday and the food taste great. The restaurant looks plain and not so fancy but saturday evening it is packed with people going in and out with foods. The service is great and the price is on the average side. The price may consider pricy but all the places around the area are in the same price range. The popular chinese foods taste great like the common fried rice, wings and EFY. They now have online order which is an approvement from the wait on saturday evening.
