I love the location and it's family heritage that Four Seas represents....... But I've really cut back on going over the last couple of years .Because I find the product isn't as good,it's overpriced and rarely offers news flavors. Unfortunately their business model is ...Jack up the prices for summer vacation trade ,and to check with the locals

Thank you for taking the time to review our shop. In some respects you are right that we don't offer new flavors but we have and do! We are very loyal to our mission and customers who want the same flavors that they have been use to for over 82 years. So we maintain the same 32 or so flavors.... More

We've heard about this location for years and never had an opportunity to sample their ice cream until recently. The ice cream, while expensive, was very good. We tried several flavors and all we're very good. This will be a place we'll return to when in the area.

This ice cream shop has been operating for over 85 years. They have oodles of great flavors. In the summer it is often packed with people waiting in long lines for the ice cream. We went there on a cool day in late September and we were the only ones there. We talked with the owner for a long time... More

I can't believe I am writing a review for the 4 Seas! This has been our favorite family stop for longer than I care to remember! I even came here as a teenager to have a peppermint stick ice cream cone for lunch! Everybody loves this place...The homemade ice cream is simply the best, and their sandwiches are terrific. Lots... Adorable historic ice cream shop! I would recommend the black raspberry, defiantly some of the best ice cream i have had! Make sure you have cash as they do not accept any cards.

Talk about a throwback! This place was great. My daughter had a PBJ sandwich and I had an olive and cream cheese sandwich. Where can you find that anymore? They came on sandwich bread (choice of white or wheat) with potato chips. The ice water came out in a paper cone cup in a vintage metal holder. Cute!. For dessert... More

Four Seas is a total throwback, and definitely worth a visit. They serve more than a dozen flavors or handmade ice cream and sherbet, as well as light lunch. Lunch consists of your choice of around ten different sandwiches served with wavy potato chips. I can't tell you what ice cream to order because, honestly, they were all good. I... More

Not a lot has changed since I started coming here in the early seventies. Great ice cream, great service, Great Tradition period- I personally love the mint chip coconut, peppermint, and when they have it the ginger. Love it wouldn't change a thing keep it going.

First of all, expect to wait in long lines no matter what time of day you go. (We have waited over an hour - the kids begged us to stay.) However, once you get past the twists and turns of the long lines in the parking lot and get to the old 1950 style counter - seats and all -... More

Thank you for your review. Glad you loved the ice cream. I will agree there are lines at night but no-one has waited for an hour - ever. You might see a short line between 3 and 4:30 as the beach goers leave the beach. Hope you had a Scooper vacation here in Centerville. Did you visit the 1856 General... More
