Sweet wait-staff were very attendant to our needs on this, our first, visit to this un-pretentious Thai restaurant. All manner of "heat" levels are available to the diner, and we had to accommodate from very mild (Crispy Pad Thai) to medium (Green Curry Chicken). All the dishes were excellent, great fresh vegetables. They've got wine and beer available as well.... More

This is a small Thai restaurant that is big on flavor and provides its diners with classic Thai cuisine, as well as American dishes. The decor is "right out of the sixties" but clean and comfortable. There are a number of Asian restaurants in Fairhaven. However, I consider Sivalai to be one of the best. I am especially fond of... More

We called into Fairhaven for a lunch stop and found this little gem. The lunch special menu was varied and extremely good value. As a fan of Thai food I can be very critical but have only really good things to say about the dishes we tried, both quality and quantity were excellent and the flavours were very authentic. The... First visit last night, I would like to think of myself as a Thai snob. We were not disappointed ordered the seaweed salad, Thai basil fried rice, red curry squash w chicken, Thai basil pad Thai. The only thing I would have liked more would be more "stars" (heat) misunderstanding when ordering. But flavor was off the charts.

Fresh, delicious, authentic, fabulous! My family and I ate at this restaurant several times in May while visiting the beautiful Fairhaven-we couldn't get enough of the wonderful Thai food. Three of our group are vegetarians and were so happy with the selections as well! Any time we visit Fairhaven, I'm sure we will be visiting Sivalai!

Our last nigh of vacation - and I did not want to cook. So, we called Sivalai and ordered a bunch of food for the four of us. I eat a lot of Thai food, but Sivalai had some standouts. Notably, my wife's basil pad thai was great - deep flavors and textures. I went with eggplant tofu, and it... More

I like Thai food. Actually, I like Asian food in general. Other kids may have grown up with an Italian or Portuguese neighbor. I had those too, but my favorite neighbor (at least, favorite one to eat with) was a woman named Grace Young. She described her lineage was being a mix of Chinese, Japanese, Polynesian and Okinawan. So, I... More

Went to Sivalai today for lunch with my wife. We started with the mixed appetizer it had dumplings, tempura veg, chicken satay and Crap rangoons. It was excellent. I had the chrispy duck for my entree and my wife had the seafood excellan (callamari was a little over done). The service was excellent and SivLi will become another go too... More

A Thai brunch 2 Sundays per month. Food was fresh, hot and delicious. It just kept coming. I could not have wanted anything else. Service was very attentive and so polite. The place is small, but cozy. Will most definitely be back and recommended to all.

Well, Sivalai Thai is definitely a step up from the other Thai place in the area. The menu is more extensive, and the atmosphere is much nicer. The server collaborated with the cook to weed out ingredients I can't eat, which was helpful. I had Pad Thai and it was decent, but it didn't impress, being a bit bland. All... More
