This is the real deal. Reminds me of the Chinese restaurants in Chinatown that cater to the Asian community. It's a little bright inside and there are no salt and pepper shakers or bottles of soy sauce. Don't expect bread or jello either. The service is about getting you fed. The food is excellent authentic, prepared in the Sichuan style!... More

Wow! Took a chance on a trip from out of town and came back in less than a week for more. Superlative Sichuan, appropriately casual, and fairly priced. This is the REAL DEAL, and the chefs know where the hot oil is! The Hot & Sour Wonton Soup for Two is a delightful surprise for Sichuan fans, a wonton soup... More

My wife and I visited during the week for a late lunch (2 PM). It was still busy. We each got a luncheon special, Chicken with Asparagus for her and Beef with Broccoli for me. She got hot and sour soup and I got egg drop soup, which I gave to her since I only like wonton soup which is... More

With no offense to the rest of people living in Massachusetts, Indian and asians typically have a spicy palate and Sichuan Gourment is just the place to cater to it. Extremely good food. I eat there atleast once. You have to try the chicken Napa cabbage, dry chicken, chengdu lamb and cayane chicken. Out of the world fishes.

I have eaten here many times and it remains one of my favorite restaurants in general and certainly a top one in Boston area and best in the Western Suburbs. Skip the Americanized-Chinese food such as General Tso or Pupu platter and get the authentic stuff. If you don't know what that is ask the server for help, anything from... More

Ordered dinner for 9 people, and was dismayed that there was no soy sauce or rice included. When I called, I was told that they do not supply soy sauce, and you have to order the rice by itself. I was put off by the staff person's attitude, and I missed having the rice. $145 and no rice? However, the... More

A pretty decent place for Sichuan Chinese. Pros: the cold noodle appetizdishes are excellent. The eggplant is very good as well. Cons: I just got the wrong main dish. I got the old Sichuan chicken, thinking it sounded pretty authentic, but which came out fried. The taste was not bad. The spices were pretty good, but just not flavorful enough... More

The best Chinese food in America. Spicy and delicious food. Would recommend this to everyone as it is the best food I ever had. We were there for 3 days and we went there thrice.

As expected, Szechuan food is usually oily but they have great fish dishes especially the fried fish with tofu in a special sauce. Service is good.
