I live on the other side of the planet, literally. When I go home once a year, I head straight for The Causeway. It's purposefully designed to keep tourists away because it is in an ugly location, no waiting area, and is crowded almost always....More

We called into the Causeway restaurant for lunch, the portions were enormous, the staff were efficient and friendly. Above all the food was superb. I would recommend the Causeway to anyone; its a simple straight forward place; 'does what it says on the tin'

Big portions. Try the fish chowda! Plan on waiting in line and you may have to park across the street. They have lots of local dishes and the scali bread is fresh and tasty too.

no reservations so you typically have a 30-40 min wait. the service and food was a great deal. the menu is very wide so if you dont like seafood there are options.

I have never seen lobster tails on the menu. Lobster pie and boiled whole lobsters and twin lobsters.
