Outstanding food and service. Wasn't so sure about the ambience. Glad to see entrepreneurs committing to the comeback of downtown Lynn. Many new restaurants, but still a bit worn. But coming back. Decor a bit to eclectic for me, but food to die for. Service couldn't have been better.

Been dying to try it and finally made it. My wife and I were in on Saturday nite, 5:30 reservation and the place was pretty packed, full by the time we left. Started with a couple of martinis, the meatball & polenta app (which they made add to the menu based on feedback). We had grilled 1/2 chicken and pan... More

A quick date night out last minute Reservations were easy to get on short notice appetizers were awesome and serving was plenty for two. I got the chicken and he got the pink chop, which was massive! I found my dish a bit salty, but that could of just been me? The drinks were fabulous and lemon hummus to die... More

We had a wonderful meal last night! This was our first time at the Blue Ox and we will be going back again! The drinks, food, and sevice were all top notch. The restaurant was very nice and had a casual, fun atmosphere. Worth the ride to Lynn!

This is a stylish and vibrant, fun restaurant in the heart of downtown. The food is quite good-I especially liked the cod entree. Drinks are strong, and service is very good too.

Got to The Blue Ox ahead of my friends and the hostess seated me at a quiet table so we would all be able to hear each other with no difficulty. The waitress came right over to see if I wanted anything before the rest of the group came. Once we were all together, she came back quickly. We ordered... More

Good food and service. However...limited menu which isn't very seasonal so they miss that farm to table experience. Tough to be a regular unless there's a dish you can't live without. Bill gets up there pretty quickly. Three of us spent $300 including tip (drink and two wines, no dessert), and left hungry. Ouch.
