A bit pricey but the ice cream is very good. I had the Oreo ice cream and my family wanted to eat mine, it was that good!

great menu of homemade flavors of ice-cream! Downfall is cash only, although they have an ATM in the main entrance. Not inexpensive but you pay what you get for. The kids that work are all very nice My kids love it here

Very, very good ice cream. Anything with Oreos or chocolate chips is guaranteed to be amazing. Nice table and chair areas (and a real bathroom!) make this place a little different from other offerings; too bad they're not open year-round to take advantage of the indoor space. Outdoor area is black-toppy and mosquito-y -- not a great place to hang... More

Conveniently located on Route 109 in Millis, the Black Cow has the best ice cream in the area. There are usually lines, but they move quickly. I don't know if the ice cream is made there, but all flavors are fresh and delicious...especially the maple walnut, which is full of walnut halves. The chocolate chip is chock full of whole... More

It was good but not as good as I heard. Ice cream is better like Bubbling Brook or others like Crescent Ridge dairy.

While all the flavors are awesome, the dark chocolate is insanely good. Staff is friendly and professional, the inside seating area is kept spotless. Plenty of parking, and more seating available at rear of parking lot. Well worth a drive to experience the home made ice cream.

The Black Cow has been a favorite in our town and to lots of others who have heard about this great place. Their ice cream is to die for and if you like pistachio, you won't find any better! Prices are a little on the high side but well worth it! Sundaes are out of this world, too. You won't... More

I have undertaken the task of trying mint chocolate chip at 5 different homemade ice cream locations this summer and this is the BEST hands down!! Friendly service too!

To Black Cow Ice cream that is. I've been there twice this week and it's only Thursday. All home-made, on the premises, from the freshest cream delivered from Vermont. Staple flavors available all the time but unique/exotic combos change frequently so bring home a pint or a gallon when you find a flavor that you cannot live without. Personally, I... More

They have really good ice cream many flavors to choose from and to enjoy! Down side servings size is on the small side and is a little pricey. Hard to go to very often with a larger family do to cost. Use as a treat once in a while due to cost with 5 children.
