If your specialty is serving breakfast, and the pancakes are raw, then there is a real issue and not much more that can be written/reviewed. We have been coming for quite some time and have had inconsistent experiences with the food. However at some point, taking the questionable food off the bill and advising the kitchen doesn't really make it... More

went here for brunch sunday in december. Only negative? cold as hell when the front door opens. Need a vestibule...badly. bustling funky old interior, clean, brisk and excellent service. We all had breakfast items....corned beef hash, smoked ham benedicts, breakfast burrito, coffee....and everything was extremely good. The hash eaters raved. Everything in my burrito was fresh and hot. Coffee good.... More

Have only eaten breakfast here. It was a good meal. Just what you would expect for a breakfast menu.....no surprises. Really like the English muffins. Really, really, really miss the pastries they used to sell at the counter.

This place has changed its name and this is the first time I have been back in more than two years, having moved from the area. The cinnamon pancake is the best. The buttermilk pancake is also fantastic. Here is a tip, the pancakes are huge - plate size. If this is too much for you, ask for the kid's... More

Great breakfast any day of the week (and full bar for a nice mimosa!) Live music on the weekends and pretty decent food for dinner!

After the Saturday wedding we all got together for a Sunday breakfast. There were at least 40 of us and the staff did a great job seating us, serving us and making our last hour in Newburyport perfect.

Good American food and live music on Thursday nights. Fun times in the setting of the old drug store. Counter and stools still there along wth high bar tables and some big round booths for the gang.

We left south of Boston at 6 am planning to stop here in Newburyport for Breakfast sometime between 7-7:30AM We arrived at 7:20 and found a parking space right in front of the door. We thought the place was closed but it was open and there were only a few people eating. The Phantom gourmet recommended the cinnamon swirl pancake... More

My son and I had breakfast at the counter. Coffee is very good. I had the home made English muffin with scrambled eggs and crispy bacon, and everything was perfectly cooked and delicious. Ample portion. My son had the homemade hash, which he really liked. Very nice waitress kept my coffee mug filled. We will return.

Thank Karen K
