This place was open on Labor Day until 5, and I arrived just in time to grab an iced coffee which I dearly needed. Just for that, this review gets 4 stars. It was iced coffee, just simple, fresh iced coffee in a boatyard, near a marina, away from the rest of the shops, and I was just thankful they... More

Whether you sit outside, or in, if you aren't a local and inured to the sights of an active boat yard/ launch, this is a lovely, fun setting from which to escape the crowds and enjoy some good coffee.

This is a great find in Newburyport. Right on the water overlooking the bridge that periodically opens to let river traffic through. The staff are great and knowledgeable about coffee. This IS NOT a Star Bucks so don't go in and feel rushed or pressured. This is a place to go and choose a good blend, sit on the many... More

Seating in and outside overlooking the small harbour area. Bit shabby chic but at least there are proper cups if you ask. American coffee shops seem to only provide takeaway paper cups. If you are paying eqivilent of £3 you want a decent cup to drink from. Hope the UK does not go completely takeaway any time soon.

Good coffee!!! We stopped in for a quick coffee before a boat trip and ended up buying some to take home.

As you'd expect, PICR has terrific coffee. It also serves a few snack-type things, principally of the sweet variety (e.g., scones, muffins, cookies) and several fancyish coffee/tea-based beverages. (Think Starbucks without the pretense, dumb names, high cost, and obnoxious patrons.) PICR tends to fill up early and quickly, and not just on weekends, but there's plenty of room inside and... PICR is a relaxed, inviting spot for coffee and conversation. I love heading down to the waterfront to meet friends and enjoy the view!

Nice outside eating, good coffee. Not many options for food to go with the coffee unless you like muffins. It is a coffee place.

Wonderful spot tucked away in the boatyards off the Merrimac where you can find their own roasted coffee and delicious teas and snacks.

Hands down the best coffee in town! Great to sit by the river, watch the boats and drink my cafe au lait. Has a section of scones, muffins and bagels, plus soup and wraps too. Nice place to meet friends or do some work - and of course free wifi too.

Thank RachelFH
