Park lunch is an old-fashioned Diner that has been in business for many many years. It is slightly outside of town on Merrimack Street but across from Cashman Park and Merrimack River. When you are through with your dinner just walk across the street and down to the park and enjoy the beautiful Parkway from one end of Cashman under... More

We, and many other Newburyporters,, have been going to Park Lunch for decades. An honest unpretentious place enjoyed by young and old, sports enthusiasts, families and all types of locals. While not a seafood restaurant as such, it delivers an excellent menu of fish and shellfish cooked just right. Fried clams and scallops are my favorites. There are daily specials... More

For the past few years my wife and I have been taking food out from the Park Lunch about once per week. Most of the time we get a cheeseburger deluxe and a regular cheeseburger. The burgers are extremely fresh with 6 ozs. of lean beef on a fresh bulkie bun and are close to gourmet quality at the extremely... More

Great fried clams....scallops and fried fish, tooI I'm sure everything else on the menu is just as good, but those were the only three things the four of us ordered. The service was also first-rate.....our waitress could not have been any nicer. Really frosted glasses for draft beer....so cold and just the way beer should come! It is a small... More

Ipswich MA is known for it's fried clams. These are better. These are the best fried clams in NewEngland. This place is a joint. It doesn't look like much from the outside but it is damn good on the inside!

This place was really crowded when we visited. I am glad we had reservations. Based on the quality and quantity of the entrees, I am sure they are always crowded. So make a reservation if you can. Though the move a lot of people in and out, we did not feel rushed at all. Our food was perfectly prepared and... More

excellent food and decent prices for seafood. Time your visit as it is a small place with limited parking and it gets very crowded. will definitely go back when I'm up north

The Park Lunch is a local's place. We had a pizza with onions, fresh peppers and tomatoes. It was a nice crispy crust and very tasty. We have had other things on the menu and everything has been good

We were going to the holiday stroll on Friday night in Newburyport. Friends had told us about Park lunch and wanted to try it out. We were told the hot dogs and clams were amazing. I had gone once before and had the Hot dog and wasn't disappointed. It was fabulous. We got the Fried claims and sour cream and... More
