Great seasonal food with a menu that changes. Fish, meat, poultry, vegetarian. Seasonal fruits and veggies. All served nicely. Good wine and cocktail selection

We've been here many times and do like the place. We usually go there with kids and they always take the burgers, which are good. We also came for dinner with friends a few times, and it was good as well. The place is friendly, can accommodate large parties and offers many healthy and yummy choices. Their non-alcohol cocktails are... More
We went here with another couple on a Friday night. Several of us ordered salads, which were quite good. We arrived a little late, but did not feel rushed to finish our meal. Dessert was excellent. Service (e.g., refilling drinks) could have been a little better. Prices were very reasonable. We liked the restaurant and will return.
We headed over today for a relaxing brunch and ordered omelettes. What a disparity in size! My plate had a tiny omelette with a baby cup of chilled fruit and my hubby had an omelette that was twice the size of mine, with home fries and a muffin.... AND they were the EXACT same price! I left hungry and he... More
I visited a few weeks ago for Sunday Brunch with some out of town visitors. I thought The Cottage would impress them but the quality of the food was SO POOR that I was dreadfully embarrassed. My sister ordered the Mahi tacos which she said were completely unseasoned and tasteless. The other meals were of very poor quality, too. My... More
Ate dinner here on a Friday night. Fortunately, the restaurant was not terribly crowded. Sadly, the food was poor and the service was worse. We waited 30 minutes for drink that we ultimately canceled. of course, a few minutes after we canceled the drink, the server brought it. The ceasar salad we were served did not resemble any ceasar salad... More
Eight of our family were at the Cottage in Chestnut Hill for a family birthday celebration for Saturday evening on October 8. I found the food highly overpriced for the quality and quantity. My one lonely crab cake was on the plate for $14. My wife's Baby Kale Salad with roasted vegetables at $11 was clearly not baby kale as... More
I was here with a friend for dinner. The service was good, however the food was ok. In fact I think that the Wellesley has better food. I did enjoy my evening, however it is pricey for the food that is being offered
I went with a friend of mine to have a nicae dinner. We had a lovely table outside, by a ping pong table. The first half hour we were surrounded by children running after their ping pong balls. I was not at Chuck E Cheese so felt I shouldn't have to deal with this. We ordred drinks. I do recommend... More
Have been there a few times now and each time the quality is consistently good - the prices are fair, the portions are generous and the service is excellent . Nice casual setting and a great place for a drink with some appetizers or for a casual meal. Definitely go back here again.
