We needed a breakfast place in the area and this looked perfect from the menu. We called ahead and that was great. My wife and son checked in and were brought to the table while I was walking back from parking. The hostess then told them they couldn't sit because the party wasn't complete. Seriously! I was there in under... More

The Rox diner is good place for breakfast. I had the veggie hash which included sweet potatoes and black beans with two poached eggs, a generous portion of crispy roasted potatoes and delicious toast. The service is good and the restaurant is bright but the decor needs to be updated.

Pretty extensive menu. Good variety, with different combinations. Easy to see why Rox's is on a lot of Boston lists for breakfast / brunch options. Was there somewhat early (8:30) on a Sunday. Place was beginning to fill up. Not very big inside, so may need to pick your spot in order to avoid a wait. Server was very polite.... More

Popular restaurant, especially for breakfast, with reliably good food. Host and servers generally friendly and efficient. Good value for what you get. Since it is a good neighborhood restaurant, it sometimes gets busy, especially for weekend breakfasts.

Lots of choices for breakfast. They make a good corned beef hash. Service is good. Place is fairly small. Service was fine. Not sure how they are for lunch, but very good for breakfast.

Had the eggs, toast and yogurt w/granola, along with fresh squeezed oj. Others had the corned beef hash, and french toast. Everyone was really pleased. Quite filling. Big chunks of corned beef. The granola w/yogurt and honey and fruit was lovely with the scrambled eggs and toast. Service was prompt and friendly.

Great place to meet friends for breakfast. Very busy on weekends so call ahead to find wait times and put your name on the wait list. Very friendly staff and very accommodating when seating our group of 8. Avacado, pear and goat cheese omelet was delicious as was everything else.

The blueberry, mascarpone pancakes with pecans were outrageous! They tasted like a cheesecake pancake dessert! The coffee was also very good. I would post a picture of the pancakes but my plate is empty! Next time.

A great spot to meet friends or take the family for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. They are very accommodating to kids. Also accommodating to various party sizes. A great kids menu. Excellent BLT with avocado. Their homemade chips are delish.
