Open year round because the food and service is great! Bob Montano makes his own pasta....fresh and delicious. Nice quiet relaxing atmosphere. Nice crusty bread served with quality olive oil for dipping served before your order is placed.

When seated, we were presented with a half-loaf of bread on a bread board. The artisan style, freeform Italian loaf, had a crunchy crust. It was not the crispy type that explodes crumbs all over the place. This was a crusty, fragrant, chewy, slightly yeasty, bread with medium and uneven holes(that take time and care to develop in the proofing.)... More

My wife and I visited Montano's on pasta night. There are a series of specials consisting of smaller portions of pasta at a very reasonable price. We met Bob the owner who has been running the place for 20+ years and he makes the ragus (sauces) himself every morning, and we've seen him working the floors with his staff while... More

Six of us enjoyed Montano's Italian Restaurant! Our server, Nick, was very attentive. Since we were seated by 6:00 p.m., we all ordered off the Early Bird Specials. Prices reasonable and portions plenty! Pizza suppose to be very good, so there will be a return trip!

On November 10th, Montanos Restaurant hosted the Lower Cape VFW Post 3152's annual celebration of the US Marine Corps Birthday. As always, Bob Montano and his staff were magnificent, the food fantastic, and a special added by baker Zana Weber, a Marine Corps Birthday cake.

I've been coming to Provincetown for nearly 40 years, and Montano's has been around for 3/4 of that time- and yet I'd never been, until now. Part of it is that there are SO many good restaurants right in PTown that there's no need to go out of town. And I am usually visiting in the earlier part of the... More

The food is always good, however tonight the service is the worst! The waitress is slow and very forgetful.

We went to Montano's Restaurant in October 2016. We tried the ricotta gnocchi with sausage—literally the best gnocchi I've ever had...light, pillowy, fresh...and also the pappardelle with wild boar. Generous portions made for leftovers the next day, which were just as good as the first time! Reasonably priced, convenient location, welcoming staff...Montano's is a winner!

This is a must try when in the Truro/Provincetown area! Great Italian food, home made pastas and extensive wine list. Lobster with grilled corn and homemade papardelle should be added to their menu as it only offered as a special on certain days, out of this world!

29 years later, Chef/Owner Bob Montano is still dedicated to creating an authentic slice of Italy in North Truro. Chef Montano, a graduate of Johnson and Wales University, prides himself on house-made cuisine. All pasta is made in-house and is cooked to order. The tomato sauce that tops the pasta, also house-made. Montano's features traditional Italian favorites, such as Chicken Parmigiana, Fettuccine Alfredo and Fried Calamari. In addition to these, the menu offers regional Italian favorites, such as Bucatini All'Amatriciana, a favorite from Amatrice, and Wild Boar Ragu, a favorite from Tuscany. The menu is rounded out by fresh caught local seafood and Certified Angus Beef steaks. Conveniently located just a few miles from Provincetown's Commercial Street, stop in on your way into or out of town.Montano's, a year-round restaurant, opens nightly at 4:30. Come sit in the dining room or relax and have your dinner in the bar room. See you there!
