We just chanced upon this restaurant when we were in Norwood for a conference. So glad we found it. From the initial greeting to the meal's end it was a wonderful experience. First and foremost the food was excellent. We're not that familiar with Lebanese cuisine but based on this meal we'll be exploring it more moving forward. The service... More

Food is always fresh and service is great. The owner works the room well and makes you feel like family. Salad is great , nice light dressing and mint always make it taste a little special

We were looking for something different-and like to try different cuisines. While the Lebanese food had a Greek resemblance we definitely felt as if were were in Lebanon. Our waiter was from Egypt and made several recommendations we took advantage of. The food was delicious, service excellent, and the restaurant was lovely. The atmosphere was relaxing and appetiziing. The bathrooms... More

My wife and i decided to try Byblos due to the great reviews and we were not disappointed. There was a fantastic selection on the menu and the food was great. Large portion sizes so be forewarned. It was really busy on Saturday night so reservations are recommended. I am not sure if they were short staffed but the service... More

This was my second experience at Byblos Restaurant. My first time was with friends for lunch and this time I went with my wife for dinner. We both enjoy Mediterranean food and enjoy the spice and flavors of the way the food is prepared. Needless to say Byblos did not disappoint. The flavors and spices in the food were perfect.... More

I've eaten at a broad selection of restaurants in Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Bahrain, Egypt, Israel and many Arab American restaurants in the United States, with many serving memorable food, but I've not found any that matches the food that Maurice and his sister consistently serve up in their sumptuous Norwood restaurant, Byblos. Only among the family members of my late... More

We had dinner with friends as the place was described as the place to go for a "Lebanese Feast". It was tremendous to try a variety of Lebanese dishes. Service was very good and our hosts had ordered all the best dishes. If you are up for a taste of Middle Eastern foods, this is the place to go.

The food is delicious. The service is first rate. Our waiter took the time to explain menu items and recommend a wine. There was a band playing and they even had a belly dancer. This was a terrific place to have a good meal and get entertained at the same time.

I consider Byblos home style Mediterranean. The best hummus I've had, the freshest food quality, good music and wonderful dancing.

I grew up far too many years ago in a city with an amazing Lebanese restaurant where we had their salad, warm pita and lamb kabob often. I can still taste the lemony mint dressing on the salad and remember the tender roasted lamb. I've eaten in many Middle Eastern restaurants since, but never found one that came near those... More
