Great place, cool design, nice bar scene (if mostly in the over-fifty range). A high proportion of the crowd appeared to be local couples. Maybe because it's the closest to the beach, the BNI always seems to have the cutest staff - young, hip, fun....More

Popular local restaurant that is open year round. New owners kept popular old favorites but have added some new items. Busy bar scene.

This is a long time establishment in Orleans. The new owners have done a magnificent job refurbishing the building. Sadly, the food is pretty awful. I hope they get a new chef and new menu, but until then, I will not be going again.

We stopped at BNI having been there for meals previously as well as an event or two. We made the last offseason session of Wednesday wing night and got some wings which were very reasonably priced to go along with a beet salad and special...More

I went with a friend and had the flounder piccata. It was light, very tasty, well prepared and just wonderful. The waitress was attentive, and very friendly. I recommend it highly

Reserved a table for the little woman's birthday. When we arrived was surprised at the lack of a dinner crowd being 7:30 and all. Was greeted by a lovely young lady that offered up her opinions on the peculiar draft selections offered. She was spot...More

I stopped by last night for dinner seeking something besides sandwiches. The servers seated me at the bar (my request) and I instantly felt at ease. Paul, the bartender, was right there with a friendly smile and real hospitality. Before I knew it, my gin...More

I dined at the Barley Neck on Good Friday in anticipation of kicking off the holiday weekend. My first visit since Joe sold the restaurant. I was surprised by the limited and non-creative menu. My entire party of 5 wished we had gone somewhere else...More

We appreciate your feedback, please note that our menu was our off-season menu that was limited, but we'll be debuting our new menu right around the corner that I think you'll be very impressed with!

We frequented the BNI twice this week. Brunch at a nearly deserted bar was fine with attentive service. Dinner was a totally different experience. The bar staff on a night that was only moderately crowded were more occupied with chatting up their friends at the...More

I am looking for a good place to celebrate a birthday with 15-20 people on Saturday evening, October 24, 2015. Do you have a private (or private-isn) room that can accommodate such a group? How do you handle the menu and prices and wine? Thank you, Sally Lindfors 703-922-1827
