We found this pub as we were staying on a CL down the road. We sat in the quiet beer garden with our dog and enjoyed a BLT with salad and crisps. Really lovely food - I'm quite fussy when it comes to bacon and...More

Visited here with my wife and 5 year old son. Owner and staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the food was freshly cooked and very reasonably priced. Lovely relaxed feeling throughout with the 2 roaring fires to keep you warm and the bar has great...More

Well okay it was almost Halloween but surprisingly on a fair day we were the only diners. The food was excellent, the surroundings very Yorkshire, the welcome friendly. Maybe presentation (dirty place mats for example) isn't their strong point but making sure you have a...More

Camped here for a couple of nights and ate in the pub a few times. Food was cooked to perfection. I recommend Sunday lunch. Landlady and Landlord are most welcoming.

This is a delightful and picturesque village and the pub has been significantly improved and upgraded in recent years. We had a good stop for a beer on a walk and will definitely return again.

We visited here on a May Monday lunchtime. Only two other customers, local builders, so quiet, but staff friendly, food good. Typical country local pub. My husband last visited when he probably wasn't really old enough to buy beer way back in the 1950's!!

Hi Dogs are allowed inside the pub in all areas. The pub toilets are accessed out the back and are quite small cubicles. Maybe contact the pub to see if they have a different toilet for disabled access?
