Chicken salad sandwich / club sandwich is out of this world good. This is from my wIfe is not a chicken of any kind advocate. Yes, Iasted it, and OMGosh! I had the Reuben sandwIch and was impressed with it as well. Great quality food for decent prices! It's only a tiny distance off the path to the Mayflower (from... More

Great find. Homey, local great food. Great selection for breakfast and lunch. I had the Tom and Wilbur ham and turkey with Russian dressing. Very good!

Sunday morning on a beautiful fall day (after a dreadful rainy Saturday) and this restaurant was packed. We didn't mind the 30 minute wait since all guests looked very happy with their meals when they left! The food was delicious and the crunchy french toast was a particular favorite at our table.

I was psyched for breakfast, had read great reviews online, and was encouraged by the crowd waiting for tables. But breakfast here was only meh. I had the special omelet (chicken sausage, red pepper, basil, provolone) which was tasty but arrived cold; (our wait person very agreeably returned it to the kitchen for a warm-up.) The toast was soggy, as... More

Visiting friends and this is their go to place...can understand why as the food is reliable! Friendly service, portions are generous and waitstaff works hard to keep ahead of the kitchen. My only complaint is that there isn't enough "make up" air with the kitchen vent to prevent everyone from freezing when people come through the front door!

The Water Street Café is a great breakfast place. I highly recommend the Stuffed Crunchy French Roast. Great meal and a good price. Plan to wait on weekends.

Arrived for breakfast, and knew it would be good with all the locals in the restaurant. Melissa, our server, was there immediately with coffee. We ordered bacon, eggs, and homefries, and substituted crunchy Texas Toast for their regular whole wheat(the crunch comes from corn flakes). The meal was excellent, and my friend took the toast and bacon which she couldn't... More

Stopped with my family around 2pm which was an hour before closing and hardly anyone was there. It was also a rainy day so I'm not sure if that was a factor. I had the Thanksgiving wrap because it just felt appropriate and different. It was good although I like some kinda crunch so I stuffed the wrap with the... More

Rendezvoused with family and friends for a delicious coffee and pastry. Friendly staff, fairly priced and breakfast options. It does have air conditioning which was nice on a hot August day. We were off to see the Mayflower and the Plimouth Plantation so it was a nice stop for us.

Thank rbkrb
