Waitress was a complete grouch. She seemed inconvenienced when taking our order or when we asked for more napkins or straws for our drinks. She never brought the straws. The food was barely edible, the kids meals were so sad looking and even the toddler made a comment about how few and small the chicken fingers were on their plate.... More

With a name like Spud's we thought taters would be a prime menu item. Wrong. The food was some of the most mediocre imaginable.

Food is always excellent, and the waitstaff are so friendly. Reasonable prices and awesome drinks. Spuds is a perfect place to go on a weeknight when reservations are the best things to make for dinner.

After exploring autumn scenery through back-roads, we spotted Spuds. Everything looked crispy new and bright. We were waited on immediately so we ordered drinks plus the baked shrimp and baked haddock lunch specials. Everything arrived within a few minutes and we enjoyed every bite. Thanks for the good food, good service and good prices.

This restaurant is a place to go knowing you will receive a meal worth talking about for sometime. We have never received a bad meal here. Traveling Rt 1 for years past, we have tried them all and Spud's is an all time good choice. We return often.

Went there yesterday (Sunday) afternoon. There was drama going on in the kitchen (someone's last day who "has an attitude") and the 2 bartenders did nothing but gossip with each other during our entire visit. They were so preoccupied with their own negative drama that it was difficult to get good service, something that we have grown accustomed to expecting... More

I had the fried shrimp with fries, onion rings and Cole slaw. The shrimp was perfectly cooked, but the Cole slaw was bland and tasteless (although fresh and crunchy). My companion had the haddock Florentine and she loved it! The prices are really resonable, the service is fast.

This is one of my favorite places to eat when I am in the area. It is a family style restaurant with good food and reasonable prices. My favorite is the buffalo chicken dinner with 3 choices of sauce. We also tried the spudachoes appetizer which was different and tasty. They also have a bar area.

Thank Sandy S
