Just saw Tom Rush--great entertainer, singer, songwriter--and had a terrific time with friends. The food was good; I had veggie lasagna, most people at our table had beef (prime rib, which the restaurant is noted for, steak, burger). Everyone seemed to like what they had in terms of taste, quantity, value. The place is very large with a lot of... More

Walked in with out reservations, Waited about 20 minutes to get seated (not terrible), Order taken quickly. Spouse and I had Prime Rib, Great Flavor and Portion. Our Son had a Burger. We were not ecstatic over the Rolls but happy with everything else. Definitely Return again ....

This quaint old restaurant is perfect for dinner, drinks, and sometimes dinner therater. It is a historical old building that has been the scene of many events , especially weddings. The food is above average and staff is accommodating.

First time we've gone to a restaurant on Thanksgiving and we chose the perfect place. We had reservations for noon time and were promptly seated. Our waitress was fabulous and attentive which must have been hard to do with the restaurant being extremely busy. You couldn't possibly go away hungry, there were so many choices. Turkey, fish, pork and ravioli.... More

We attended a wedding at The Bull Run. Service was great. Food, average. Very tight space for the amount of people. (about 50) We were spread out in 2 rooms on the second floor. These rooms were separated by a piano and a walkway to the kitchen for restaurants and function room use. Made it difficult to be with family... More

I was visiting a friend this past week and she had been telling me about Bull Run for a while. We had brunch there two days ago and it was absolutely delicious. Aside from its wonderful historic significance, the servers were very attentive, the food was terrific, and I can't wait to go back again! What a wonderful ambience.

We checked out the Bull Run after hearing positive things from friends. It lived up to the good reviews - interesting menu with great variety. Service was great and the place has a great vibe.

The ambience is much the same as when your grandmother might have visited long ago, but the food has taken on a much more contemporary flair. The menu offers "farm to table" cuisine, "using the finest local ingredients sourced from area farms whenever possible". The selections are indeed fresh and creative, though the descriptions on the menu may carry the... More

Recently had dinner at the Bull Run after not being there for many years. I forgot how quaint and historic the building is. It is so comfy and homey. I had their Prime Rib which was delish and the beginning popover was hot and welcomed. My friend had their combo platter, beef, lamb and sausage and that was also very... More
