We had brunch here after visiting the Norma Rockwell museum. It is a real traditional inn like a few others in New England. Our meals were all delicious....quiche , clam chowder, salad , roast beef sandwich and Indian pudding! Buy the maple vinaigrette dressing in the gift shop. (It is served with the salad and quiche entree).

About twenty friends met for a late lunch recently to celebrate a friend's 70th birthday and our experience at the Red Lion could not have been more perfect!! Several of us arrived early to decorate and Molly and Suzanne were very welcoming and met all our needs. The bartender was great to all of us. But SUPER THANKS go to... More

We had dinner at the Red Lion In for Thanksgiving 2016. We had early reservations and were seated quickly. The place was hopping but we were made to feel as if we were the only ones there!. The food was great, the lamb appetizer was excellent and unique . The main course was filling and delicious too!. The Indian pudding... More

Upon entering the place for lunch there were about 20 octegenarians who apparently had their hearing aids turned off as they were all conversing in loud voices. We ate in the bar and the food was just OK and not inexpensive. The town is a dead zone for wifi so if you ever wanted to check on the family, you'd... More

Warm fire, cozy bar, friendly staff and a cold beer. The perfect rainy fall day spent at the red lion bar. Get there right at noon as the small bar upstairs fills quickly. More room at the bar downstairs. Really good food and classic American free pours on the drinks. We are planning to stay there's next visit. Beautiful country.

Elegant atmosphere. Friendly but businesslike waitstaff. Not much for vegetarians on the menu, but the all of the food was good. There were 9 people in our party, and everyone got something different off the dinner menu. No complaints about the food, although I don't think it was outstanding. Prices were high, but not unreasonable for the area. The ambiance... More

We had an impressive 25 th anniversary dinner at the Red Lion Dining room. We had a table for two In Large candlelight dining room which was quiet in sound even on a busy Saturday night. Our meals, duck and roast beef were impressive. A nice added touch was the live piano player.

So there aren't a lot of places to eat in the area and this is an older historic place, but once is enough for me. Nice ambience, enjoyed the fireplace, server we had was very nice and did a great job (but we waited too long for our meals when the place wasn't even full),menu was a little pricey for... More
