I have been going to the Wayside Inn for years. The food is always good with good old fashioned homemade selections. The atmosphere is great too. Beautiful location to take a stroll around before or after your meal.

Dinner at the Wayside Inn was perfect. The setting is a charming 400 year old building with tremendous comfort food. I had been craving roast beef for years but every place we tried was throughly disappointing until tonight. My husband and I both had it...More

It has been there forever and it shows. Noise level is high when the dining rooms are full. Staff are friendly, but food is expensive. The rolls in the bread basket are steaming hot and it also has a few mini muffins. Salads are fresh....More

Longfellow's Wayside Inn is a unique part of the historic landscape of Massachusetts, and the oldest operating American Inn. Featuring an authentic building style and traditional New England food, we offer the ideal location for romantic nights out, banquets, family events, company parties, and weddings. Our menu provides exceptional quality at great value, including hearty portions and seasonal foods. We encourage our guests to spend a day with us, touring the serene and historic grounds, enjoying a drink in our 300-year old Tavern, and settling in for dinner in one of our historic rooms. We have an open patio in the warmer months, and lit fireplaces through winter.
