We had Sunday Reservations for a post Valentine's Day dinner. We were treated very nicely by everyone we met from the bartender in their snug by an open fire bar right through our dessert. Our appetizers were perfect (French onion soup and bacon wrapped scallops); our meals were very good as well. Dessert was delicious. Everything about our experience was... More

Attended a small birthday party. A private room with fireplace was available for our group, with dedicated wait staff. The selections were tasty, well prepared and served, and the cake was delicious. Prices were more than fair, given the historic location and the service.

Great amibence and atmoshpere. Colonial dining. We have lived in the Sudbury area for many years, and wanted to spend a night at the Inn with dinner and continental breakfask. The service was great, and a very relaxing time. Would do this again!

This Inn is located in the country on an almost desolate road. It must be beautiful in the Spring when the trees have leaves and the flowers are blooming. We were seated in the largest dining room next to a roaring wood fire for lunch, so nice. The waiter arrived quickly and we ordered drinks. Three of us ordered the... More

My brothers, mother, uncle, aunt and I ate lunch in the main dining area of the Wayside Inn. We all felt that this was a great dining experience. The pricing for lunch in this historic setting was reasonable. The sandwiches range from $10-$15. The meals range from $15-$20. My crusted salmon with fresh green beans at $15.95 was delicious. Everyone... More

I use any opportunity to introduce out of town visitors to the Wayside Inn. There are many good dining choices in the region but there is only one historic Wayside Inn experience. Food is very good; service is excellent; and the experience is memorable and one-of-a-kind. We requested one of the smaller rooms and were seated by a nice warm... More

My family & I started out the New Year with an amazing birthday lunch. Our reservations were absolutely perfect! We had a table right beside a comfy cozy fireplace which made our dining experience extra special. There's nothing more extraordinary than celebrating a birthday at a historic country inn. And the Wayside fits the bill! Nice the inn still had... More

Great colonial atmosphere; preserved historical space; great for friends and family visiting. The food is ok; nothing special but the bar setting is fabulous. I've been there for wedding; the food was unremarkable. I like to go there to have drinks with friends after a visit at historical mill and surrounding area.

We recently went to the Wayside Inn for dinner. We hadn't been in quite a while and were very disappointed. The food arrived cold, the fish was dry and we left with the feeling that we would not want to return. A place with this historic significance should perhaps pay better attention.

We always come here on the holidays for dinner and really are never disappointed. Food is very good and the atmosphere can't be beat if you like history and historic buildings. We also come for dinner in the summers as well since we live in Sudbury.
