We went for breakfast on a Sunday morning, arriving early enough to only have to wait about 10 minutes for a table. When the wait is long, the hostess takes your name and cell phone number - you can then wait in your car - and she texts you when a table is ready. Their menu items are hip, breezy,... More

This is a fairly small place that gets crowded, particularly on weekends. Portions are large and the food is terrific. We love their egg scrambles, served with a pile of homefries. Just one negative - the door opens in the middle of the seating area, and in the winter there's a cold blast whenever people go in and out, which... More

I went there with mother in law for lunch. We got there 11:45, by 12:45pm there was a big line at the door on a Friday. She ordered the sandwich and salad (it's a lot of food). I ordered the House Special Burger with sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries were soft inside and crispy outside. SO GOOD! The... More

A busy restaurant with basic and unusual menu items. Really good. Very fresh. Friendly service. I highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast and/or lunch if you are in Watertown.

My 12-year-old son ordered chocolate chip buttermilk pancakes (7.59 + $2 for chips). He finished all 3 pancakes. My 11-year-old daughter ordered the French Toast with Compote on the side ($9.99). Side of bacon: $3.99. The piece de resistance was a special: Tofu Grand Breakfast Sandwich ($8.99). Served on a bagel, sliced tender tofu strips ruled but there were other... More

Breakfast all day, savory omelette and inventive specials. I really like uncommon grounds for dine-in and take-out. It gets really busy which is a great sign thT locals love it!

People are always raving about the breakfasts here, but their lunches are also outstanding. Our server, Amelia, was terrific. My Cuban Panini was awesome, and my husband"s Cobb Salad was very good as well. Recommended without reservation!

We had the Hawaiian burger plate and breakfast BLT at Uncommon Grounds. The burger was made perfectly with a large slice of grilled pineapple which was freshly cut. Exceptional flavors in both sandwiches. Great attention to details. Real maple syrup, flavorful coffee that wasn't burnt, and friendly service with customized swag. The price for all this was very reasonable.

This morning, I ordered the poached eggs (2) on toast with loads of avocado, a few sautéed cherry tomatoes, a sprinkling of red pepper, and parsley. It tasted decadent. There are usually almost a dozen creative specials plus the usual menu items. Lots of different kinds of coffee (flavored lattes, etc.). Often crowded, this has terrific breakfasts and lunches.

Classic american breakfast and lunch with a twist. We have the fluffiest pancakes around (made fresh every morning) and also have unique items like the 'Pancrepe" and many egg-based specials. Try the lemon ricotta pancakes on weekends only - you will not be disappointed. Our paninis, homemade soups, burgers, reubens, and salads are a cut above the rest - delicious and healthy!
