This place is absolutely amazing for Lobster rolls, fish and chips, Cape Cod chicken salad and to top it off, ICE CREAM. It is a town favorite and never disappoints.

Been going to Dairy Joy for about 25 years. It's a great place especially when the weather is nice to bring your small kids and get some fried clams, a burger or my go to a lobster roll...This is classic New England and I used...More

Charmingly retro, Dairy Joy was where we made a very happy visit today. (We'd passed it quite a few times. It's easy on this portion of 117 to blaze past it and you regret not turning in, but it's difficult to turn around and go...More

Thanks for this review, Dave! Glad you stopped in and enjoyed the ice cream. We'll be open for a few more weeks this year, too.

... but I did, and so should you. This is a 1950s drive in burger joint, but an absolutely great one. Fried clams, lobster rolls and marble twist soft serve are all wonderful here, just bring a pile of cash. It ain't cheap, it's just...More

We have loved Dairy Joy since we were kids...the food is always good, but not cheap. Worth a stop! Try one of the swirls or the onion rings!

We have gone here over the years and are never disappointed. We want fried clams and ice cream. We get that and that is all we need. The ice cream is copious and for grandkids really fun.

First, I must confess that I have a massive weak spot for ice cream stands. So this review will be as impartial as possible, but remember how I come to it. I love Dairy Joy. Always have. Always will. It is simply no value, but...More

Hadn't been to Dairy Joy in over 20 years! The fried clams are as good as any seafood restaurant on the New England coast! They serve coffee soft serve, which remembered from years ago.....it is still my guilty pleasure! My husband had the Creamsicle soft...More

The food is at best average roadside grill and fried food and ice cream but it is not even consistently average. I've had much better food in better locations for a lot less. If this were on the Cape or in Maine I doubt it...More

Description
Continuously operated by the same family, the Cedar Hill Dairy Joy of Weston first opened its doors in 1961 and has served delicious summer favorites to millions over the decades. Dairy Joy has received countless awards and recognitions over the years and continues to serve some of the best soft-serve ice cream and fried seafood in all of New England. Longtime devotees of the roadside ice cream and fried seafood stop can expect to see menu favorites like brownie fudge sundaes, chocolate-dipped soft serve cones, hamburgers, fried clams, and Raspberry Lime Rickeys returning for yet another year, along with some exciting new additions year in and year out. Named one of the “33 Best Ice Cream Shops in America” by Thrillist, the legendary soft serve ice cream is made from scratch multiple times per day using fresh fruit purees. Dairy Joy’s unique JavaBerry flavor recipe was discovered by accident years ago when a manager mistakenly combined raspberry sherbet with coffee ice cream. A daring customer gave it a try and the rest is history.
