We love this place... but recently, we've been on a bit of a health kick and I was surprisingly disappointed when we stopped there yesterday for a late breakfast. I was expecting some breakfast choices that were a bit more health friendly... things like maybe turkey sausages or turkey bacon or maybe French toast made with simple whole wheat bread.... More

So glad I found the Optimist Cafe through a Cape Cod daily deal. Since the first visit I've been back at least seven times. And every time the food has been great. Usually go for the joy which has eggs anyway that you'd like, two strips of bacon, two absolutely fantastic sausages frankly the best I think I've ever had,... More

We were out for a drive and happened upon this place. It is delightful and delicious. We plan to rerun for teas and clotted cream.

Rubbery omelet. French toast was thin and barely dipped in egg before cooking.Very disappointing. Previous owners were much more attentive to special menu choices.

Just went there for the first time last week and ordered corned beef hash and scrambled eggs for lunch. Not only well-presented, it was delicious! Huge menu for a smallish restaurant. One member of the party had Pumpkin Pancakes which he promptly demolished! Wine and beer only and Mimosas (at $8 each!) Noisy because there are no curtains or rugs... More

Great place that we stopped at on our way to Provincetown. Servers were attentive. We had a lobster quesadilla special which was good but kinda pricey for the portion. Hubby had vegetable curry that hit the spot. Really nice place .

We came here after an afternoon of shopping along 6A to have afternoon tea. The food was delicious and the service was attentive and pleasant. My 7 year old daughter loved it. We will definitely be back.

A perfect place to kick start your day !! I've been twice and honestly I prefer this place over grumpys . The pancakes are great ! Omelettes are amazing and the optimist breakfast is the perfectly portion to fill you up . The prices are abit more expensive than grumpys and Joe 's outback but if you want quality and... More

We stopped by here twice for lunch during our Cape Cod visit. Both times the food was good and the service was very welcoming and friendly. Would definitely recommend a visit - you can sit outside if the weather is nice, and inside is nice and cool with air con if it's too hot!
