don't know if it always like this on a Saturday night or what but the place was insane - yuppyish which made it VERY noisy/pushy. Great for them, bad for us looking for a little more low key. American cuisine food was good, nothing outrageous although they did appeal to everyone's appetite-soup, salads, pizza, dinner entrees, etc. The guys loved... More

We love 220! The staff knows how to make you feel special and welcome. Beautiful restaurant with great food. They have recently added Sushi to the menu. A great addition! It is delicious and reasonably priced! When you go ask for Chrissy! You will be glad you did! Don't forget to try out the Sunday brunch!

I use to go to the old 220, which was a landmark! The 220 2.0 in comparison is nothing special. Just pretentious but with no fundamentals. Food is nothing special and overpriced. The crowd has become kind of weird too, and normally this is the sign when places are not going to last very long. I wished they would have... More

I loved the NY strip steak! and they served with the fresh bread from the hot oven with a melting butter! The service was 5 stars, from the front desk to the waitress to the manager; they are kindly and have the smile all the time!

I used to have meals and drinks here at 220 around 10 years ago. I remember it was a fun place to eat and also to enjoy some bands below in lower level. I recently went back after a long time- I was alone and was trying to eat a lunch and I swear the bugs were crawling out of... More

Stopped by earlier this week for dinner. 220 has a "wine Wednesday" promotion that benefits the local Junior League chapter. Good deals on really nice labels, and they have an awesome musician playing. Perfect spot to unwind after work.

Excellent menu and food is worth the price. Cool drinks and great wine list. Nice energy for a special night out. This is becoming my favorite spot for dining in Birmingham. Service is attentive and professional. I'll be back

We opted for sharing two pizzas that were okay but I wouldn't recommend the margarita, the crust was limp, with just a little cheese. The chicken pizza was better with a bit of zest. All in all a disappointing experience as our friends swore the menu wasn't pricey the last time they were there, however....... as we were visiting Michigan... More

The food was just okay. Wine was good. We had short ribs and scallops. It wasn't very busy that night but food wasn't hot when it arrived. Our server, Eddy, was great. It was our anniversary, & we chose it based on a night we spent there at a private party (which was amazing) but this night just wasn't very... More

I recently took a friend to visit Birmingham and we wanted to catch a happy hour instead of a late lunch. The weather was beautiful so most folks ate outside on the patio however the Happy Hour fare was only offered inside in the bar area. We sat at a high top table near the bar and each had two...
