First, my criticism. It is always too loud and difficult to hold a conversation. But worth the trip for the food. With entrees that include buffalo and other tasty treats, it is a sportsman's must visit. The food is very good and not too pricey. The atmosphere is great.

This is a great change of pace. They have a number of quasi wild game dished on the menu. Venison Chili, Duck Tenders, Bison Burgers, and more. All are very well done. Standard items as well. Great beer list.

My family went to the Moose Preserve on the recommendation of a nurse at a nearby hospital. The Moose Preserve is NOT your typical cookie cutter restaurant. It has the traditional favorites that you'd expect at a good steakhouse and for many people that'd be enough. What sets the place apart is that they have a selection of wild game... More

This is a great place to eat for family and friends. They have a large selection of drinks and they have really good steak. This place is more like a log cabin as all the tables and chairs are made out of trees and logs. Very cool place and I think it is a must go place to go for... More

We like the unique menu featuring items like buffalo, venison and moose. This time we had the venison chili, steak tortilla soup, buffalo loaf sandwich and the grilled chicken salad. Everything was good. Service was great but the place was not very busy so that likely helped.

This place has a unique menu that you won't find at most run of the mill restaurants. The food was pretty good, and the atmosphere was great. It was a bit loud inside, but not too bad. The waiter wasn't as attentive to us as I would've liked, but he was still pretty good. I would've given 5 stars, but... More

emphasis on Michigan food, and well prepared. Staff is friendly and helpful without being overbearing. Prices are reasonable, given the unique nature of the food.

Excellent service. The brunch menu is hearty and tasty. We really enjoyed the experience. The cream of broccoli soup was delicious. Three cheese omelet is one of my favorites.

We had a buffet lunch here after a tour of Kirk in the Hills and the food was excellent. The servers were all friendly and helpful. The warm chocolate chip cookies provided the perfect finish to the meal!
