Went here for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. From the outside of the building it looks run down. On the inside it is also pretty dated and looks like it could use an update. The food was really good though. Their chips were awesome! House made with a great seasoning salt on them. Their guacamole was also pretty good too.... More

We arrived approximately 8 o'clock on a Saturday night and the restaurant was packed. So I suggest you making reservations in advance so you don't have to wait 30 minutes, or you can sit at the bar as we did. The food was delicious, the service was good, and really there's never any complaints with this place....we've been going here... More

This is my husband's favorite restaurant. We dine here quite often. Food is always good. Not too happy to pay for chips and salsa, but they are always fresh and warm. However, the staff has changed. We were having a streak of bad luck with service. But with our last visit, it seemed to be back to its regular good... More

My husband and I had not been here to eat in a while, but we loved it! The food was great, the waitress was on top of everything! We truly appreciate good service; it makes us want to return sooner! The only gripe that we have, is that Tia Hellita's charges extra for their chips and salsa. Any Mexican restaurant... More

I have been to Tia Helita's before with better experiences. However, on our most recent trip the restaurant was dirty and my food was cold. Don't order the seafood burrito. It was more like seafood salad wrapped in a tortilla. Their chips used to be better too. :(

Wife and I went here and got a stuffed burrito and a quesadilla. Both were horrible. The only way I can think to describe the chicken is.... if you boiled a chicken breast and then stuck it in a food processor. As far as the burrito goes. I will just say to stay away. I guess it's the same for... More

No, I would never go here again. The food is overpriced, and definitely not authentic. The margaritas are weak, and taste like sweet and sour mix, that has been watered down. Bought an extra shot of tequila for the same price as the drink itself. The bartender apologized, and stated she would discount my bill, but never did. Anyway, I... More

The 10" burrito and flour tacos is my usual order. Chips and salsa are too. The chips are thicker, and salsa is a a strong mild. The food is good for dine in or take out.
