We arrived dripping wet after a four hour motorbike journey in heavy rain, were made very welcome and soon warmed up in our cosy room in the converted barn. Our room was well furnished and decorated and the shower was excellent. We ate at the...More

Artisan bread….prefrozen brown bread and butter. Amazingly tasteless. Burgers for mains that we were told were made in house, well if...More

We had a really lovely family meal at this pub on the bank holiday weekend. The food was delicious (epic Kiev and the brownie was delicious!) plus the kids food was good too. The staff were super friendly and efficient. Couldn’t fault it at all.

i agree with the other posts. If you want English market town atmosphere you could stay at the White Horse Hotel in Romsey a £20 taxi ride from central Southampton and about a half hour journey.
