Very good products, a lot of cheese, but the dough is strange and the whole thing is very overcooked. Do visit the place if you like American style food - you would love it. It's simply not for me. Sorry.

We went on a busy Saturday night and they accommodated our large party very quickly. Food was very good, but slightly inconsistent. Manager and waitress went out of their way to correct the problem. Food did not come out at the same time, but like I said it was crazy busy. Service was good, but she did seem overwhelmed with... More
Buddy's is an old school Detroit style pizzeria that serves the best pizza, salad (the antipasto is a MUST TRY!) and other italian favorites in the area. family owned and operated for decades.
I've never had Detroit-style pizza & after eating at Buddy's, I think it's safe to say I'm a fan. I usually don't like crust but I really enjoyed all of this, which is good because even though it's square, every piece is an edge. Great vibe and super busy!
The food was fantastic. I had Greek salad and veggie pizza. Both were wonderful. The service was slow and they seemed unprepared for such a large group although we had reservations and the food was pre planned. I would have rated it 5 stars but the service was not up to par.
My 5 star review is strictly on the food. We ordered the bread sticks and an 8 piece old world pepperoni pizza. We also were happy to get a fountain Vernors pop. We were recommended to Buddy's by a staff member at the Henry Ford Museum. It turned out to be a great place for pizza. The motif is eclectic and a lot of fun to take in while eating. Parking in the rear was easy. Waitress was ok.

The salad had beets in it which was also unusual, they added a nice twist to the flavor. We ordered three different types... More
We wanted Chicago-style deep dish pizza. We ordered take-out. When we arrived we couldn't find the parking lot (it was in the back) so we called and they guided us in. The pizza was ready for us. Excellent. Well worth the money.
